Great apartment with a fantastic host

Pros: This apartment was a great find! I was in town for a week for work, meeting at the Aventine WeWork an easy few block walk away. The bed was comfortable, there is a large closet with shelving to unpack into, great shower pressure, and a nice little kitchen. The host was wonderful, responded almost immediately to any questions I had and provided very detailed instructions about how to access the building and the apartment. Everything has door codes, so no need to carry a key and I was able to check in late at night with no issues. I didn't have a car, but there is free parking available in the garage if you do. The building also has a nice central courtyard with outdoor seating and a gym. You can walk to a nearby shopping center with a Whole Foods and several restaurants, and it was about a 10 minute drive to the main La Jolla coast area. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, I highly recommend this apartment!

Cons: There's really not much to critique! The only less than ideal thing was that the bedroom had an air purifier/dehumidifier (not sure which) with a vent hose going out the window, so it didn't have the best sound seal and the blinds couldn't go all the way down. It's a quiet neighborhood, but I could hear highway sounds at night and there was a good amount of light in the morning (but not directly in my eyes). Worth noting if these things are important to you, but it certainly would not deter me from choosing this apartment again.
