Cardiff By The Sea Lodge

Pros: Ending the day on the roof top terrace with a drink was the best part of our day!!

Cons: Nothing!

Fantastic stay with with excellent rooms and impeccable services

Pros: This a wonderful Hotel; a real gem! I was mesmerized by the special and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. The beds are extremely comfortable - one of the best beds I have had in a Hotel. The staff is exceptional - accommodating, helpful, professional and so friendly! The breakfast is small but good - a tasty fresh juice, coffee and muffins. There is a sundeck at the top of the Hotel with a fantastic view; a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunset. The location is perfect - it is just some steps away from a nice beach and from good seafood restaurants. The Hotel offers towels, beach-chairs and umbrellas for free - an excellent service so that we could enjoy two days at the beach. I highly recommend staying at the Cardiff by the Sea Lodge!

Cons: There was just one minor issue: the fridge was pretty loud and kicked-off every other minute during night. I told this the staff the next morning and the problem was quickly resolved. Other than this, everything was perfect!

Restful room, beautiful location and professional staff

Pros: The staff were great, very welcoming and helpful. Location just behind the beach was super and easy to get into downtown Encinitas by car. Rooftop view was lovely and room was clean, comfy bed and spacious

Cons: Quite thin walls so if you’re a light sleeper that could be tricky once the surrounding rooms and staff make noises

Pros: The handicap shower water drains/flows past the long floor drain…we had to leave a bath towel across do dam the water. Otherwise room was excellent!

We had a lovely stay and would happily stay there again.

Pros: It was very clean and a close walk to the beach. We enjoyed the roof-top area a lot!

Cons: Breakfast was just a muffin and juice.

Pros: The rooms were modern and spacious and clean. Great view of the ocean. Easy access to restaurants and the ocean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: There was no breakfast. Just tea/Coffee, muffins and juice.

Cons: Would have liked a good breakfast. We had to go to a nearby restuarant: Pipe to have some breakfast.

Very centrally located hotel in Cardiff! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Pros: Beautiful spacious rooms that are very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to many restaurants. Staff deliver a muffin and smoothie to your room for breakfast- coffee is available in their hotel lobby!

Cons: Nothing except it would be great if they could bring a cup of coffee with the muffin etc. since they are already delivering it to the room!
