Uptown Inn - Limited Service Apart-Hotel

Amazing stay. Great value for money

Pros: The room was well appointed, clean and well designed, the floors were wooden, headboard wooden, easy to clean. AC worked well and parking was relatively cheap

Cons: Stay in my room was great, it was all I needed and I would stay here again in a heartbeat but In order to improve, perhaps a deep clean of the kitchen and laundry room

Pros: The lightning, amount of towels, bath products, it had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: A little bit small for the price but it was okay for 1 person.

Pros: Obviously recently renovated the rooms were very compact but well appointed and cleverly designed to make good use of space. Great location in Hillcrest - nice and handy to San Diego zoo.

Pros: Comfortable and convenient. I was able to walk to zoo, though it was a long walk, and lots of nearby restaurants. Convenient to the train to LA, too. Pleasant staff, very clean rooms. Not sure why the area near the elevator had massive mirror, but it was useful when I was altering a dress for a wedding.

Cons: No light near the bed.

Great budget friendly option in Hillcrest

Pros: Great budget option in the heart of Hillcrest. The room is small and clean...mini fridge worked great. I had a room on the west side away from highway noise and I heard nothing. There was a cute balcony if you're on the 7th floor. Staff was friendly.

Cons: If you're driving, paying for parking is probably a good idea...some of the streets in the area have no parking from 2am-6am so looking for parking can eat up some of your time. The mattress in my room would sink at the edge of the bed and the hollow metal bed frame would occasionally make a boom noise as I tried to get on/off the bed.

Goog value for money, great location

Pros: The location is amazing. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe. The place is well linked with transportation and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in walkable distance. Balboa Park is just 20 mins by foot. There is a coin operated laundry room within the hotel which was a great benefit for me as it was already my 10th day living from my suitcase.

Cons: The hotel could benefit from a refresher, however, all was good.

Pros: This is my go to hotel when I’m staying in San Diego. It’s close to the clubs and many great restaurants. You can grab your morning coffee right next-door at Better Buzz coffee. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are clean. Staff is excellent and very friendly and accommodating.

Pros: Location and staff are excellent! Great value for the money. Cleanliness was great. Very clear and accurate advertising.

Cons: Small rooms and spartan amenities. But great value and as advertised.

Pros: Location there's an amazing ramen place next door. It was also very clean.

Cons: It was small don't expect luxury but it is a nice clean room

Pros: Everything! Very comfortable bed! Perfect location, walked everywhere and tons to do around it. Staff was very nice as well. Would highly recommend
