Pros: The place was very nice. Could sit out on the balcony. It took 20 min. To walk into town. 15 min. To get bus to airport for 5 Dollars for 2. Grocery just across the street. Very good restaurants in town. Fish Market, Sally's and lots more

Relatively affordable and comfortable stay if you don't mind some noise, activity, and the walk

Pros: Great experience with the hosts and checking in, etc. They are quite communicative and responsive. The place is big and comfy, with good amenities, including everything you expect in a minimal apartment. It is a decent alternative to the ridiculously expensive hotels during large conventions in the city but it is quite a walk to the convention center or other areas of interest. Cabs and rideshares should solve that problem and they are abundant in SD.

Cons: The area is somewhat noisy (close to highway etc) and perhaps not the most excellent area in San Diego. The area is definitely changing with many newly constructed apartment buildings and facades but it is sad to see the socio-economic dichotomy prevalent here.
