Cozy Mountain Guest house

I came as a wedding guest and fell in love with my stay.

Pros: What you see is what you get, which is a very cozy, quiet, clean mountain guest house fully equipped with all you need to spend a day or so in solitude. The key was neatly hung inside the home with WiFi instructions and no intrusion necessary by the host. So wonderful. It was exactly what I wanted. The bed was great…flannel sheets kept me toasty even though the weather was mild for winter. I only used the coffee maker, Netflix TV and living room heater but they all worked! The price was perfectly affordable … the whole experience made my stay (to attend a wedding in the next town over) extra delightful I suspect once the word gets out this place will be in high demand.

Cons: Certainly no “place” is “perfect” so I will mention there was no Verizon cellular service inside the cottage, however, the WiFi worked great. Perhaps a little more water pressure in the shower but now I’m just being picky.

Pros: Very nice quaint home not far from Mt. Laguna. It's in a quiet area and we were not bothered at all. You have a convenience store and a hardware store within walking distance.

Very nice places except for internet not working or my cell phone

Pros: It was very clean and spacious . It was well equipped the internet pass or posted on the wall did not work so because I got there late no was at the address that is provided. The cabin is a separate structure behind the house where the owners live. Finally after knocking on the door quite loudly a you boy come to the door and directed me to the house. But the instructions were not clear

Cons: The cabin is rustic and well maintained The bed and furniture were good The shower was good. The toilet doesn’t flush well. Must’ve a water saver because I you’ll have to flush twice

Enjoy the rural area, don’t expect to have workable WiFi. Check SDGE for schedule power outages before your stay.

Pros: Full kitchen. Gas hot water heater for when the electricity was out for 4days.

Cons: Poor Wi-Fi. WiFi box isn’t in the cabin so you can boost it through the modem. For one looking to get away from the world it’s perfect. For those of us trying to work and do school work it was not perfect. Power outage for our first week was scheduled- tho I thought it was due to heavy wind since it happened just a few hours after checkin. Host was not proactive during this time. I had to do my own research to get an estimated power return. Host brought an ice heat with one small bag of ice after a few days of no electricity. This was my second experience as a guest during a power outage and there is definitely a better way to handle it as a host.
