Guest House next to Little Italy

Pros: Good location close to little Italy and Balboa Park in walkable distance. Friendly and uncomplicated contact with owners. Clean and has everything you need for 2 nights.

Perfect for solo trip.

Pros: The room is great! Small but very practical. The location is near the airport and little Italy. Sounds of plane is ok for me and the room serves with earplugs. You can take about 10 min walk to all delicious restaurant in little Italy. That makes my trip much more convenient. After checking out luggage storage is available at their office. Staffs here are very friendly and kind.

Cons: I didn't realize that I need to step on stairs to my room and I had 2 extra heavy luggage boxes. It's ok, just need to avoid heavy luggage next time.

Pros: Planes land almost over your head, but I was aware of this, so it was no problem for me. At night, the airport is closed. Very close to the park and Little Italy, easy to walk around, nice area, and safe for a solo traveler. Clean, well-equipped with all the necessary tools and more, plus a big TV with Netflix and more. Thick towels. Nice mattress (not too soft).

Cons: The specific smell (probably of cleaning liquids) but I’m sensitive to this).

Pros: It was clean, well equipped with everything you need. You feel cozy and comfortable here.

Cons: - late check-in at 3 pm and early checkout at 10 am. You have to go to another place if you want to store your luggage. - airplanes flying just above your head during the day, but it didn’t bother me during the night though. - location is good but you way to little Italy doesn’t feel safe enough for going alone in the evening. - sink is in the room but no space allocated for towel and toiletries - sink was clogging all the time

Pros: Lovely garden out the front to sit and have coffee in the morning. Comfortable and clean for our stay, thank you! Would stay again.

Cons: The toaster didn’t work and it was quite noisey from the runway but I still slept very well on the comfortable bed!

Pros: This Studio was in the middle of downtown, we could walk to little Italy without having to pay downtown fees for the hotels there. The location made it easy for us to walk to San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and was close to many restaurants. The owner of this Studio also kept in contact ensuring everything was to our satifisfaction. Would highly recommended this to anyone that visits.

Pros: Fue un buen lugar al hospedarte, little italy muy cerca. Todo me pareció bien. Pequeño pero agustoo. Lo volvería a reservar.

Pros: A kitnet é muito confortável, limpa e bem equipada. Possui micro-ondas, frigobar, cafeteira, chaleira e itens de cozinha que permitem um lanche ou cafe. Colchao, travesseiros e roupas de cama confortaveis e limpos. Oferece toalhas, shampoo, sabonete, pasta de dentes, escova, café, chá, creme e açúcar. A área externa é bem charmosa sendo possível curtir a vista e relaxar. Está localizada bem na rota dos aviões, mas o revestimento acústico do imóvel abafa bastante o som. Apesar disto, o bairro é bem tranquilo e próximo a little Italy e o Balboa Park. Tem WiFi. O proprietário e solicito e responde rápido as dúvidas. Recomendo

Cons: Na kitnet que fiquei nao havia janelas o q senti falta. Mas nada q impeca o meu retorno.

The unit we visited was sweet and cozy in a safe neighborhood.

Pros: The property was very cozy and neat. We loved the outdoor garden area despite the occasional spider.

Cons: We did not realize being so close to the airport meant we would hear the loud airplanes passing over the property about every 10-15 minutes, however, we did adapt quite rapidly and it was no bother at all.

This was a cozy, comfortable stay within walking distance of everything I came to SD to do!

Pros: This studio was located in an area where you can walk to most anything! Balboa is close, an excellent bakery is close, and most importantly several coffee shops are close by. The property is very secure and street parking wasn’t a problem. It’s no joke that you are on the flight path but that also means the airport is just minutes away. It wasn’t a problem for me.

Cons: There is no place to hang a towel! A hook or a ring would be really nice.
