Marriott's Newport Coast Villas

Pros: We had a 116 m² apartment that was very comfortable. The master bedroom had its own bathtub, and both bedrooms had their own toilets and showers. The layout of the apartment was well designed, and it felt very homely. The resort itself was pleasant, and we enjoyed the swimming pools and the table tennis tables. Most likely we will go back in the future.

Cons: There were stains on the carpet in our apartment, as well as on the sofa. The kitchen cabinet doors are in need of replacement. These were the only negative aspects of the apartment. It was our first time at the property, and while we easily found the correct building where our apartment was located, finding the apartment itself was initially a bit challenging, as there was a lack of proper signage. The price–quality ratio did not quite match expectations, as although the place was good, the price felt slightly high in relation to what was offered. Parking was subject to an additional fee, which was not made entirely clear in advance.

Great place, with amazing facilities. Limited food options

Pros: Large apartment, very spacious, amazing heated pool - kids loved it, good location in Newport beach.

Cons: There is no proper breakfast place. The marketplace available is very small and with few options, also rather expensive for what they offer. One very impolite lady making coffee there, as well.

The most relaxing place in Orange County

Pros: Big apartments, big comfortable beds, the facilities at the resort are incredible. Friendly and helpful staff, an incredible place to stay.

Pros: The facilities and entertainment for youngsters were very good.

Cons: Dining facilities for guests could improved and also the repayment of ‘pending charges’ should be instant when the account is settled!

Pros: The staff was amazing, exceeded expectations. They were so informative, took their time to answer questions and show genuine interest in creating a great experience for their guest. Even the shuttle driver, we were waiting for a bell driver to take us back to our room from the salt pool and he noticed we were cold and waiting and before leaving for the day took us back to where we needed to go and shared shuttle scedhule for the next day and recommendations for the restaurant at the villas! Honestly can’t wait to come back

Outside of the view from balcony, it is a lovely relaxing retreat

Pros: As a whole it is a great experience. The property has great customer service, large two bedroom suites, and the rooms are clean.

Cons: When I reserved a room from another travel website, we got a room with a beautiful view. The two times we reserved a room from Booking.com, we were put in rooms with views of trash cans and construction debris. With a balcony being advertised, I prefer a better view.
