Urban Oasis near the Zoo A Central Studio for 2

We loved the neighborhood and the place is darling, just needs some work.

Pros: We loved the location, cleanliness, quiet and the well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the little patio. There was plenty of hot water and the linens were nice. There were a few problems: the bed was bad, and there is a step down in the room we kept tripping on. There was a big stain on the rug that should have been cleaned before it was rented. There were only 2 towels for a 2 night stay with no way of drying them out. The stairs going up to the unit would be impossible for the elderly or handicapped . This could be a great place with a good mattress and a few tweaks.

Slept , went to zoo (tremendous!) , ate at McD’s

Pros: The location is ten minutes away, walking, from the San Diego Zoo. You don’t need to rent a car which , considering how brutal the zoo is , helps. Great coffee.

Cons: Had trouble , at first, using the keypad.

Comfortable and convenient with very helpful staff.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to downtown and the bed was so comfortable after a long day on the bicycles.

Cons: Nothing to speak of.
