Great central location
Pros: Comfy beds. Easy walk to gaslamp and convention centre. Kitchen useful. Fairly good pool and good gym. Very amenable about arrival times.
Cons: Electrics fused quite frequently but there was a rapid response from the owners and we were helped a lot. If you arrive on a baseball game day the road to the apartment is closed so you have to walk a couple of blocks

Would definitely recommend to friends when traveling to San Diego and wanting to stay in the Gaslamp district
Pros: Apartment had everything a guest could want or need for an away from home stay! Very insightful and meticulous design!
Cons: Not as close to restaurants or waterfront as we had hoped but still doable! Parking garage dimly lit and not convenient! Arcade room most of the games, simulator, bowling etc were broken and not usable.

Wonderful apartment, extremely well-appointed, caring host, but very difficult getting access.
Pros: The apartment was beautiful and incredibly well appointed. Everything you could possibly want and more was provided, clearly labelled, and so well organized. We were incredibly impressed with the thoughtfulness and caring of the host, Charles. This was way beyond our expectations. The location was great - very convenient for touring the area. We did have one or two significant issues, and our host went way out of his way to compensate for our troubles. He had flowers delivered along with food platters and desserts to make things right. It was a wonderful gesture from a very generous host.
Cons: Our arrival at the large apartment complex late at night (~11:00 pm) was a nightmare. We couldn't get into the building - no one was at the security desk, the doors were locked and a phone call to our host was not answered. We had just driven 2 1/2 hours from Palm Springs, and were tired and anxious to settle in. I managed to get into the building when a renter happened to come out and let me in. She also let me in to the elevator which requires a key fob that we did not yet have. Then we were able to get up to the unit and use the passcode that had been provided to open the lockbox and get the key fobs. The parking pass we were supposed to get didn't happen until the next day due to a system being down and the office closing at 6 pm. So we needed to find parking elsewhere, in a garage or on the street. We ran into several more issues parking (it was after midnight by that time), but finally just parked on the street and things got straightened out the next day.

Centralized location, nice accommodations
Pros: We loved the property itself. Every detail was thought of— including labeling the cabinets to show where everything was located in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels and sheets and everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the coffees and teas available for us. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions or issues we had.
Cons: The only issue we had was the parking garage being unavailable during our stay, but the owner did everything to accommodate us in a further away lot. Also for Ubers and food delivery, it was a little confusing as to where the entrance and pickup locations were located. The owner did everything they could to make the key fob pickup easier for us, but finding the location to get in was a bit of a challenge, too.
