A very nice apartment to stay in San Diego
Pros: The location was very good. Good communication from the host. Facilities were great.
Cons: The mattress was a bit too soft but that is personal preference.

Pros: The studio was nicely located in a good area next to a hospital, but really quiet. I slept very well there, my best sleeping during the whole USA trip. I did not needed earbuds to sleep and the bed was super comfortable. The bus stop 3 is right next to the appartement that takes you to the gaslamp quarter and brings you close to the convention center. I also highly appreciated the water filter and it had everything that I needed. Also a water cooker and an iron. It was all clean and also the fridge was in the closet so it was not that noisy as in all the other rooms I have been staying in the US. The neighbourhood \
Cons: The studio has no direct sunlight in the room, since it is on the ground floor, but you see into the little yard were you can step outside, as it is shown on the pictures. The only thing I would have find also more useful would have been if the water cooker and the coffee machine were plugged in to a power supply on the location were they were standing, which I wrote the landlord. Overall, there is nothing really bad or negative about the appartement.

Pros: Location was good. Although it wasn't necessarily walking distance from the city's main attractions, the neighborhood I stayed in was safe. It was close to public transit. I liked how they had beach towels available. I debated if I should take one from home, and I am glad I didn't. A review said that the bed was too soft. It indeed was soft, but that didn't bother me. Eateries and bars were close by. Instructions were clear on concise. Most importantly, the hosts were responsive promptly. Another little thing I appreciated are the chargers they had. I have a USB-C device for which I don't have a power brick. Their extension cords included a USB-C port for charging. It is a small thing (just like with the beach towels) but I was pleasantly surprised. I also appreciated that they had Netflix, as well as other streaming services on the TV. Maybe this is standard nowadays, but it was nice to know I could watch Seinfeld before falling asleep.
Cons: Right off the bat, I did not appreciate being charged for early check-in. You also get charged if you want to drop off luggage before the 4pm check-in time. It was still a good place considering there was always something undesirable about other places I've looked into. I ended up paying, because I did not want to waste a day in San Diego. Despite me paying, the door code did not work for me because it wasn't set up for me for an early check-in. The host responded very quickly and resolved the issue, which I did appreciate. As a result, I didn't penalize the rating for them. It was a nice stay.

The Location was perfect for us.
Pros: Our son lived close by and we liked the hillcrest neighborhood. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Nathan was quick to respond to any issues we had. Great Host. We hope to stay again.
Cons: Any problems we had were solved very quickly. No complaints.
