Definitely the best hotel for our anniversary trip - can’t wait to come back!

Pros: This place is just amazing. We got welcomed with prosecco, local cheese, dried fruit, and fresh flowers – such a lovely touch. Our room had a huge soaking tub, cute handmade clay mugs, really good local tea and coffee, and the softest alpaca bedding. The rooftop terrace with the fire pit was such a vibe, and the outdoor rain shower was so refreshing. Breakfast on our private patio was a highlight – those poached eggs with a local twist were absolutely perfect. We had total privacy and the self check-in was super easy. Everything felt cozy, calm, and full of thoughtful little details.

Cons: One downside is the distance from the beach - you do need a car to get there. But for us, that wasn’t an issue at all.

Quaint, friendly B&B in an excellent location

Pros: Not crowded, quite room and location. It felt like you can have peace. The location is great and neighborhood seems safe. There is parking! Breakfast was amazing and it is a pet friendly location. I loved the welcome treats for my dog and the sparkling wine for us!

Cons: Would be helpful if there could be more access to fresh drinking water - like a 5 gallon machine vs the main refrigerator. Although the rooms are small, a small refrigerator in the room would be helpful. I noticed the other guests with pets also had dog food that needed refrigeration, so the little patio fridge was very crowded and the main fridge is filled with groceries for breakfast.

Heavenly stay! Look no further-book this place!

Pros: This property was beyond my expectations, which are very very high. Pristinely clean, all the details and touches were above and beyond. And a pleasure for the senses. Anke is a curator of peace and well-being and warmth.

Blissful European boutique hotel. What’s it to love?!

Pros: The décoré is lovely and everything is perfectly appointed. I felt like I stepped into a European boutique hotel. Coffee was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Anke is a masterful egg chef! And she met our every need. I didn’t want to leave.

A beautiful little retreat in Encinitas- healthy quiet and peaceful.

Pros: The properly was clean, easily accessible, with parking and an electric car charger. Our room was beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast service as organic, homemade and delicious. Anke was friendly, gracious, and also gave the guests their privacy.

Cons: The property is inland a bit, so it’s a 5 minute car ride or so to the beach.
