Doryman's Oceanfront Inn

Overall I would recommend this hotel for a holiday. Its location is beautiful.

Pros: Pros - location, interior, fireplace, patio, breakfast, parking, silence. Thanks for the hospitality. My stay at the hotel was pleasant. The usual price for a room is 200-250+. During my stay the price was 400 including holidays. I understood that I pay only because there was a demand for these days. But, of course, I would like a little more attention for this price.

Cons: Minus - we were not settled until 3 o'clock just in principle, although the room was ready at one o'clock in the afternoon (I specially went to check). The cleaning staff started cleaning the rooms very early, literally from 9-10 am, making noise and actively using the patio, which violated the general comfort. Blocked a $300 card deposit without warning. The hotel is not suitable for people with poor mobility, even there are steps in the room.

Pros: The location, the style of the building and furniture, the cleanliness, the terrace, the friendly and beautiful receptionist Audrieas.

Cons: The double bed was a bit small for two people and a bit squeaky.

Wonderful and enjoyable stay - 9 nights.

Pros: Excellent in many ways, Beachfront, comfort, nearby convenient shops, location and above all very friendly and helpful staff. we were given on loan beach gear umbrella, chairs, beach mats etc.

Cons: I know it is a small hotel. Bit Disappointed with breakfast choice. To find a Restaurant staff we had to go on Google search every day. We had to ask for the same thing like 'English Breakfast Tea' 8 out of 9 nights we spent.

Pros: We loved our stay at the Dorymans - they have easy access to pull up out front for bags and then a private parking lot a block away. Staff were super helpful and able to get us fresh milk and extra pillows and blankets with ease. The room was spacious and very clean, some reviews mention the beds but we used all 3 in the room and they were all comfy. There was a fridge and tea and coffee facilities in the hall. Location is right on the oceanfront with fantastic views. We didn't get bothered by the noise and it's expected in a busy central location. We would happily stay again.

Cons: The lift was out of action which was a bit tricky for my mothers mobility but we managed. The breakfast was very limited with just fruite / bagels / cerial / juice and very weak coffee - connected to ocean 21 i expected it to be a bit more as thier food is so fabulous- but it's worth knowing it's limited and other places are around to eat in the morning

Perfect

Pros: The Victorian style just captivated me. The rooms are extremely beautiful. The restaurant is astonishing. Very classy with unparalleled good service. The food is very delicious.

Nice historic hotel in a nice location near the beach, restaurants, and bars. Worth a visit.

Pros: Nice hotel, with parking on Newport beach, staff very informative and friendly. Room was comfortable and quiet, with a nice breakfast area with a good choice. Some great views from the rooftop of the beach and surrounding area. Lots of nearby bards and restaurants, and a very short walk to the beach and pier. Good location for a family or just friends visit.

Cons: Only stayed a single night, would have stayed longer if I could.

Pros: Great location close to restaurants and bars right at the Newport Beach Pier. Old but well maintained building. The room (Bellagio) was comfortable and spacious, with a nice gas fireplace.

Cons: My room's windows (Bellagio) were facing a noisy alley - on Sat evening we had street noise until late after midnight. The windows did not do a great job to eliminate the noise. The TV does not support streaming apps or screen mirroring. The continental breakfast had a very limited offer.

Pros: Great location, lovely terrasse and good breakfast. Allowed use terrasse after check out which was generous.

Cons: All good.

Beautiful experience with stunning sea view

Pros: Close to the beach, beautiful view from the room. The design is very authentic and timeless

Pure class

Pros: This is a proper hotel with bundles of character and charm. Great, unusual rooms, lots of space and exceptional location.
