Vineyard Hacienda

Very grateful to find this hidden gem after a scorching ride on mi moto up from San Felipe.

Pros: Art everywhere. The rooms, the construction, the tiles, the finishing touches, it all fits together into a sumptuous & gorgeous sense of style. This place is a hidden gen. Skip the big city and come to the hills! Loved it. Next time I will stay longer.

Pros: This is such a wonderful vineyard and hotel. We really couldn’t believe our eyes, it was so incredibly beautiful so that we even stayed a little longer. Michelle hosted us incredibly well, we felt like home :)

Pros: Such a beautiful property! Completely different than the normal hotels. It was an experience to walk their grounds and explore the history within this special place. I was blown away as it was much more than I expected. The views were spectacular, loved the balcony, the setting was perfect.

Peaceful and memorable

Pros: This is a historic converted hacienda in a Spanish Colonial style in a secluded location in the mountains in the southeast suburbs of San Diego. It has a small number of guest rooms and an adjacent vineyard (and a free glass of wine for each guest). It is very private, uncrowded, and peaceful. My room was spacious with a garden view, just a few steps from the small parking area. It has a nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The room was clean and comfortable. It feels rural but is just a short drive from a shopping area and Cuyamaca College, and about a 20 minute drive from downtown San Diego. For those seeking quiet seclusion with easy access to San Diego, this is a wonderful place.

Will revisit at an earlier time!

Pros: Patty at the facility was very friendly and nice. Even thou we checked in late and I was a little scared. She gave us a tour of the property and I have to say it was really really nice from the cellar to the outside pool and yard.

Cons: The place was very nice but at night I couldn’t really sleep I kept hearing noises like if someone was walking upstairs.

Great place to stay. Ideal wedding venue

Pros: The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Plush grass, big trees a wide assortment of flowers. The room was large and the bed comfy. There’s a small bar for happy hour. There a wine cellar and you can join their wine club. Location is very quiet and secluded. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I’ve stayed there twice and will definitely return

Pros: The property is absolutely beautiful and has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Everyone I met was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made my stay feel even more special. I’m really glad I chose this place and would definitely love to come back. (:

Pros: The staff was incredible. It reminded me of the Versace Mansion the way the design was. It was like a hidden nook in East county. The two dogs on the property had their own vibration and we're so sweet and kind. I would ask my partner to get married here or get married in general. Just such an amazing unique feeling. Go joe!
