Comfy, clean and quirky. Handy cafe, good pool and great shower. Laundry on-site too.

Pros: Comfortable, clean and quirky. Nice pool and vibe.

Cons: Staff could have been a little more proactive telling us about what happens at the hotel, like Sat movie night.

Pros: The room and location are great, the personnel is friendly and helpful.

Cons: The noise from the highway.

Pros: Very close to the trolley station and nearby restaurant options. Staff very friendly and helpful 24/7.

Pros: Best motel in the area. Neatly renovated, I liked the style of it very much. The parking is free and spaceous. Nice breakfast area, with quality options, discounts if you stay in the motel.

Cons: It's a bit pricey compared to the area, but the quality is much higher than the neighbouring motels.

Pros: We really liked the Rambler! The staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and overall the place felt very welcoming. The coffee and food in the café was super nice. Would definetely stay here if we visit San Diego again!

Pros: Here from UK and travelling the SW. This is by far the best hotel/motel we've stayed in so far. We even booked an extra night. Pool is great, room is great, staff are all great. No in room coffee/tea facilities but the onsight coffee shop makes better than I do so def can't complain + get discount as a resident. Cannot recommend this place enough. If I lived nearer I'd be back in a shot. Great laid back vibes x

Cons: No downsides. Fridge might have been nice as staying a few days but didn't spoil the trip.

Lovely gem just outside of San Diego for the right price!

Pros: I liked that there was a coffee shop on site and that guests received 40% off...that was a huge bonus with not having a breakfast. I was able to grab quick snacks like yogurt for the kids and coffee for us. The rooms felt new and clean! I thought they were so cute! The beds were the best beds we've been in at a hotel in a LONG time which is just great to see they spent some money on that and not just the looks. I was bummed at first to be a bit further out of San Diego but it was SO nice to be out where you could see the water and there was a lovely walking trail we took with the kids! They even had free bikes to use and scooters for kids but we had a little one too so we couldn't do it, but so great for older kids!

Cons: You could tell the bathrooms weren't as updated and don't love that there was a casino right there but everything else was great and still felt safe. There was no fridge in the room which I guess I just used to but I can see why with the price we paid. We survived without it!

Pros: Room was big and very clean. And nicely decorated. Super friendly staff. No breakfast but nice coffeehouse where you can get discount if you are staying in the hotel. Free cruiser bikes for the day. Cycling from hotel to Coronado is feasible via South (25km one way on flat bike lanes). The surroundings seem sketchy but only 3mn walk from E Street Blue line trolley stop. Felt safe all the way. Nice sunset and seaview.
