A beautiful, relaxed stay

Pros: The staff at this hotel clearly care about giving their guests the best possible experience. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure the stay was a relaxing and pleasant. The hotel's 5th floor rooftop terrace is a great place to relax and watch sunset over the ocean, or the pelicans overhead. The walk to the Imperial Beach Pier is less than 5 minutes through a safe beachside neighborhood that feels laid back, and is full of interesting restaurants. Imperial Beach sits right beside the US Navy base, and has a very safe, family feel -- if you want a relaxed beachfront resort to enjoy the San Diego area that isn't sandwiched between yacht clubs and multi-million dollar homes, this is a great choice. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Cons: It's no fault of the hotel, but while we were there the prevailing currents carried sewage up the coast from Mexico, so there were bacteria warnings that kept us (though not the local surfers!) out of the water. The beach walking was still wonderful, but we weren't brave enough to splash around.

Just beautiful

Pros: This location is awesome. Beach front rooms the food is fantastic. Been to this hotel 3 times for a get away. You can walk right on to the beach many food locations also close by. The imperial beach pier is also just a short distance walking.

Cons: The parking is limited but valet parking makes it very convenient.

relaxing

Pros: we had brought our own food which we had prepared. the staff was great!

Cons: I would like to come more often so I would say, lower the price

Pros: 海の目の前でロケーションが最高。部屋もおしゃれで綺麗。スタバのコーヒー付きが嬉しいかった。18〜19は屋上で、海を見ながら、アペリティフとドリンクサービスがとても良かった。

Cons: 水回りが古いのかバスタブの水がキチンと止まらず、気になった。入り口のドアの建て付けが悪く、力を入れて押さないと開かなかった。ヘアドライヤーが古くて、使うのが不安だった。

Pros: Вид потрясающий, очень близко океан! Симпатично оформленные номера. На крыше классная зона отдыха со снеками по вечерам.

Cons: Пару раз в зону бассейна и джакузи проходили люди с улицы, что было не приятно. Но работники отеля приняли это во внимание и исправили ситуацию, за что спасибо! Надеюсь у других гостей отеля такой проблемы не возникнет!

Pros: Great location! Amazing customer service really clean room with a great view.

Pros: Closeness to the beach, area not to populated for a beach.

Cons: The overpriced hotel restaurant, that was under staffed.

Hidden Gem but needs a little more love

Pros: Great location. Secluded. Not crowded. Marriott beds.

Cons: 1. Wifi was not sufficient for netflix. 2. Not as clean as other Marriotts. Windows dirty on balcony and restaurant looking from the patio to the beach. Couch pillow stained. Peanut shells left on balcony. A little more effort put into cleaning would be great. 3. Charging from bedside lamp fried my phone battery port.
