Ayres Suites Mission Viejo - Lake Forest

Pros: Breakfast is been great! All clean in room and free parking is amazing!

Pros: The location was good, nice backdrop of the mountains. Rooms were spacious, bed comfortable, shower was great. We stayed in quite a few hotels on our travels in California, but these rooms had all of what we needed i.e. microwave, fridge, sink, sofa, table to eat at, desk for any work, and TV. Breakfast was provided and there was a restaurant on site which was great. All in all a wonderful stay.

Cons: We were left for 15 minutes waiting at the desk. But someone from the hotel came and checked us in. The only thing we thought could have been added is a kettle for hot water for those who drink tea.

Pros: Pretty, easy, a bit away from office in Lake Forest

Cons: Path to restaurants down below could be nicer.

Good deal with everything included

Pros: We stayed for one night and found it to be a great value, especially with breakfast/amenities included. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. I was pleasantly surprised to see egg whites with spinach available—something I’ve never encountered at a hotel breakfast buffet before! The only downside was the location, as it’s right next to the freeway, which can be a bit noisy. However, we were aware of this when booking, and considering the price, it was still a good deal.

Nice for a short stay

Pros: Hotel was nice, the service personnel was friendly. Room was spacious and quiet.

Cons: Breakfastroom was too small and crowded. Service at eggs and waffle station was slow and overwhelmed.

Would recommend and definitely would stay again

Pros: Very clean, comfortable and generiously spacious rooms. Even though it was just two of us it was great to have the lounge area to spread out and pack all our shopping. We hired a car so the location didn’t bother us, however it was good to be located in a quiet area. Breakfast was good, free parking was awesome, we had no issues finding a park.

Cons: Guests were sent to our room by accident late at night we had to wake up and let them know to stop trying to swipe in and go back to reception. No one called to apologise. Also there was a dog two rooms away that barked often. It would be good to put pets on a different floor.

Nice hotel beautiful location

Pros: We stayed here 4 night when we visited US for our Disneyland trip. This was a last minute booking we did mid flight and we were very happy with our stay, location is very peaceful and beautiful, staff are friendly, rooms are big and clean. We will definitely stay here when we return to US again.

Cons: Only thing we thought could be better is breakfast, it was the same menu every day and when you stay multiple nights you get sick of breakfast menu, we stayed 7 nights at ALO hotels by Ayres in Anaheim after we checked out from here and they had the same tasting items in their breakfast aswel. ( i believe Ayres use similar ingredients for their breakfast menus across hotels they run) So we kind of gave up on waking up for breakfast towards the end of our stay. It’s best of the menu could change from day to day.

Comfortable

Pros: We enjoyed the breakfast and wide selection of items available, including hot items. The lady serving hot foods was wonderful, made eye contact, smiled and was very welcoming. Lots of space in our room. Clean. Comfortable.

Cons: Some towels were not replaced that we left on the floor after our first night. We were missing a facecloth and a hand towel. We were frustrated and disappointed at how difficult our check in was because of an error by Booking.com. Front desk could not find our reservation despite the fact that it was confirmed way back in March. It was looking like there was no room for us. Clerk was going to offer us an alternative wheelchair accessible room. At the last minute she found our reservation but Booking.com had it under a name that made no sense at all except that it had the first few letters of our last night. Learning for us: don't book through booking.com in future

best cost / benefit ratio.

Pros: Honest breakfast, comfortable room, nice view on surrounding hills and mountains, easy to find and park

Comfortable and peaceful stay.

Pros: Loved the staff and environment. Very clean, calm, with a great view. Awesome breakfast spread.
