Exceptional

Pros: Beautiful room. Although the sea view from the room itself was quite restricted, outside the room was a large sitting area overlooking the sea with really comfortable cushioned seating, shade, candles, incense sticks, and just sitting quietly here listening to the waves was amazing and really recharging. Room was lovely with lots of little touches - shells, ceramics, decor. Shower great. Overall this was a great experience and wish I could have stayed longer. Oh, and they have free availability of chairs, parasols and towels for the beach. Would def stay here again.

Cons: We have been told that the parking lot is 10.-$ but they charged 15.-$

Pros: Location is amazing! Views stunning and very quaint. Very relaxing and comfortable bed.

Cons: They do have a lot of flies on the patios and it’s a bit dingy in the common areas but, the rooms and views make up for it.

Pros: Breakfast at the bistro was delicious; staff was friendly and helpful. The Fisherman's was also a fun place to have a drink or coffee and relax.

Cons: In the room I reserved, the spa-tub was advertised on the web site, but a sign in the bathroom said it was out of order. I never called the front desk to ask about it, however.

Wonderful.

Pros: We were in the 3rd floor Azahar Room. It was clean and cheery. The ocean view was wonderful. The porch/balcony was relaxing with an ocean view and breeze. The beach, pier, restaurants, Trolly and train are right out front! Can't beat the location. And can't wait to come back again.

Cons: We were not offered at time of reservations for a breakfast package. That would have been nice.

San Clemente is a great quick getaway. This is a nice place to stay so near to beach, pier and restaurants.

Pros: Location was fantastic. Enjoyed the balcony, had a great view of beach and pier. Even though it was a shared balcony, there was plenty of space to share and we were usually the only one out there.

Cons: No complaints

Our favorite place!!

Pros: This hotel is not new, but it's charm and beachy oceanfront Vibe is all that matters. We absolutely LOVE this hotel. The area is amazing. Be prepared to sit back, relax and take in the view. Planning our next trip already. Honeymooned there 24 years ago and it's still fabulous!!!

Cons: The only thing we are not fond of is the stairs. Thats it. The rest is awesome.

Pros: The young lady who handled me at the front desk was amazing. i wish I could remember her name. She put me on the floor. So I didn't have to walk the stairs with my arthritis. And let me. Have an early check-in.

Well worth it, couldn’t have stayed anywhere better for where we were at

Pros: Staff was all super friendly and super helpful. Room had a beautiful ocean view with the best proximity to the train station, beach, and a variety of restaurants!! Truly couldn’t have been better

Cons: Room could use some upgrades like new paint or modernizing but it was very clean!
