Nomads Hotel

Great place in great location

Pros: Great little hotel, the room I was in was slightly awkwardly configured but comfortable and clean. Other reviews complain about the whole hotel being below the bar (which is a nice bar). But I don't understand that, because the bar closes at 10pm anyway so it's not disruptive. Fantastic spot in St Clemente, right by the high street and walking distance down the hill to the beach. Funky, and Fun.

Pros: Great spot, big and clean rooms and friendly staff.

This was perfectly suitable for our needs. We only stayed overnight to avoid a long drive home.

Pros: The location was great for our purposes. Parking was provided and easy to find with the map provided. Accommodations were simple, but clean and pleasant. Even though our room was right on the the street, the black-out curtains kept it dark, and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable; nice TV with steaming stations included.

Cons: This is a self-check-in hotel. I had not experienced this before. The check in was rather easy, but I missed having a person to greet us; to be able to ask questions; to contact if there was something wrong. I'm someone who gets up in the night to use the bathroom. The floors throughout the room were cold and bare. a few rugs would be an improvement. As far as amenities go, a box of tissues by the bed would have been nice.

Pros: The location (I walked to the beach), the big room and comfortable bed. The atmosphere. I recommend drinks and food at Nomads Canteen just at the back of the hotel. Great place to sit outside to have a beer and plan the details of your stay. Next time I visit I'll take up the surf lessons. I just hadn't had enough time this time around.

Pros: Simple and easy online check in Clean and convenient location

Definitely a great place to stay between days on a work schedule. No frills but very clean and accommodating.

Pros: Rooms are very clean and affordable. The complimentary drinks are a plus!

Cons: The floor traffic above the room is loud.

Only place I’ll stay in San Clemente

Pros: How cozy and unique our room was. Truly felt like a mini resort getaway and not like a typical hotel stay

Cons: That it’s small and every room is a whole vibe

Pros: Found street parking fast. I believe I got the best room there with the best view. I loved the brewery/bar. Great experience!

Cute Funky Spot

Pros: The room was very spacious and unique. The plant in the bathroom was a great touch and the contactless check-in was superb. The restaurant was great and the free drink was an unexpected surprise.

Cons: It was a bit noisy, our room window was in the alley. That's the only thing and not something that's fixable-so super minor.

Lots of fun memories made, we will be back

Pros: Such a cool and quaint property! The property communicated via text which was perfect. We had our own special code for entry into the main door and then our room. Above was the canteen which had great food. Apple TV was awesome, room service was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Nothing, it was fantastic! Some might complain about the canteen above, but not me, I have loud, annoying children so the canteen drowned the children’s noise out. Also, how cute is it that Nomads provided the room with a white noise machine?
