Lovely boutique motel style stay close to the Marina

Pros: We loved the comfort of the bed along with the very spacious room. The details throughout were perfect. Both nights we had a couple drinks and food in the restaurant & bar. We were very looked after and enjoyed all of what we had. Having the marina a short walk away was also nice to offer additional places for food and drink.

Cons: Additional parking cost for the car. Rooms could include a fridge.

Perfect place, definitely stay here!

Pros: After a long journey the greeting at reception was professional but warm and welcoming. He gave us all the help and information we needed, I could have chatted to him all night, it was like going to stay at a friends! All the staff were exceptional, going out of there way to provide information and excellent service. The bar area (fantastic cocktails) restaurant (fabulous food) and the small but perfectly formed pool area was great. It had a 50's vibe which really gave a great ambience. It was easy to get around, lovely runs , great coffee shops all close by. This was my favourite hotel of the holiday and we travelled around! I wish we lived closer I would come again or go to one of the other hotels.

Cons: I liked everything!

Super hotel for a stay in Point Loma.

Pros: Amazing Breakfast, warm pool, nice interior in the room, parking in front of the door.

Cons: Location is nice but a bit far of from locations where activities are. In San Diego you drive anyway.

comfortable, nicely restored mid 20th century motel

Pros: lovely, room and furnishing, good soundproofing, comfortable mattress helpful receptionist, good, included breakfast with nice fruit, beautiful, outdoor pool and restaurant

Cons: water pressure in shower very low, even for California, bed too low to floor, road in front of hotel seemed dangerous to cross on foot or bicycle (which I did not rent) due to speeding cars. A stop sign given location of hotel in relation to harbor, would be sensible. No apparent assistance for carrying luggage up stairs

Nice place with very friendly staff

Pros: The room was very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was also easy to reach and in walking distance of the sea.

Cons: Slightly more facilities (mini fridge in the room, breakfast in the restaurant) would have been nice, but we managed very well without

A great bijou hotel in a fantastic location !

Pros: The location was great with good coffee shops and eateries and Shelter Island all within walking distance. The room was very clean and airy. The bed was so comfortable and the toiletries provided were great too. The hotel is small and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Sadly the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday nights (the 2 nights I stayed) so there was not much going on in the hotel whilst I was there - it was very quiet. I was told that it’s a great place for cocktails (when open!). It would also have been great to have some comfortable loungers by the pool rather than just upright chairs.

Great stay, I would book again, especially for personal travel

Pros: Great property, beautifully renovated and nice style with lots of lively details. Comfortable spaces.

Cons: Lack of iron and ironing board and coffee maker in the rooms was disappointing. I wouldn’t usually miss an iron but travelling for work sometimes requires it. I’d recommend coffee makers in the rooms.

Everything went great.

Pros: Everything went great. Staff was super friendly and informative. Loved the room and the authentic mid century vibe. I will definitely recommend it to my readers.

Cons: Bed was a little soft, though not really a problem. Shower floor was slippery, probably because of the liqued soap, conditioner etc mounted on the wall.
