Very nice hotel, loved it!

Pros: Very friendly staff, and good house keeping, stayed there for a week, very clean and comfortable. And the hotel itself like a small resort, nice pool and garden.

Cons: The AC was really noisy to when it was switching mode, but fortunately we didn’t have to use AC because the weather was comfortable enough.

Pros: Next to the marine, the beautiful sunsets and sunrise - the facility jas a lot of greenery. We had problems with our company cards and staff was pleasant and helped us solve it.

Cons: Half moon pass is 20 USD a night, it is manadtory. IMHO, ir should be included into the price of the night, and nor added extra on arrival.

Pros: The location was very nice especially to go running in the morning.

Cons: There wasn't enough light in the room, the lamps weren't really bright.

Pros: We enjoyed the location of the hotel on Shelter Island. After travelling along the California coast we wanted a bit of quiet, down time & this hotel is in a peaceful location. We were not aware that the hotel is also a local concert venue ( this had passed us by) so we were treated to two acts on consecutive evenings, whilst not peaceful this was fun. Breakfast was nice in the hotel restaurant with a great view of the boats. Staff friendly & helpful. A few good local places to eat without having to drive.

Cons: It would be nice to have coffee/ tea available in the mornings. This was something offered in other hotels we stayed in on route. There is no real beach to speak of near the hotel.

Pros: Whenever I am in San Diego, I come here. Vibes of vacation, incredible rooms and amazing shelter island location. Best in San Diego.

A wonderful hotel outside the bustle of the city

Pros: We love this hotel and it was a return visit after 20 years. Our room was large and had an ocean view which was perfect. The location of the hotel on Shelter Island is highly recommended and there are plenty of good quality local restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be back!

Cons: The pool area was very noisy at the weekend but that is to be expected so we would come during the week next time.

Pros: Everything was super. Wonderful setting. The pool area is awesome. The live music at the hotel lounge was great.

Pros: Great location, the hotel grounds are fabulous. The rooms are a good size and well equipped.

Cons: We could hear the TV from the upstairs neighbor (and guess what they were watching… Scarface fyi)

Nice comfortable stay

Pros: The room was big with lots of drawers and big wardrobe. I liked the garden chairs, as they had lovely cushions to sit on. Very good condition. Bathroom had a lovely big mirror that was lit from behind Swimming pool was lovely and warm Pool bar served lovely food, as well as drinks Sierra the pool bar lady was great. Very friendly and made us feel welcome. Cushions on pool sunbeds were very well padded Dining room had a lovely outlook overlooking the marina Grounds were well maintained

Cons: Fitness suite was too small. Very uninspiring Maria the receptionist served us when we arrived, but we were very unimpressed. Didn’t seem to be enjoying the job and didn’t smile and make us feel welcome. She didn’t seem to understand our questions. I think there was a bit of a language barrier. We arrived early about 2:00pm and she told us she would give us a call when room was ready. We never got the call, so we went back to reception at 4:30pm, and had to wait in queue to be served. The room was ready and Marie gave us no explanation or apology why she didn’t call us. Swimming pool towels too small
