Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn

A good place to stay in spite of neighborhood challenges

Pros: Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The personal care products were very nice! Breakfast was more than adequate for a quite reasonably-priced stay.

Cons: Unfortunately for this hotel, the surrounding area has become a gathering place for some quite sketchy characters. To the hotel's credit, they discourage people loitering around the property; unfortunately for guests, this is done via a motion-activated security system which makes an announcement intending to move people away from the area. We heard this announcement numerous times through the evening, which disturbed an otherwise peaceful stay.

Pros: Staff was amazing. Incredibly helpful and accommodating. We ended up needing to change our check in time twice and on a day of our check in due to traffic from LA and they were so nice about it! Front desk staff was very kind and understanding.

Pros: the hotel was great. We loved the specialty coffee machine and each had several great coffees every day, The beds were comfortable and the hotel was clean and well maintained, It is close to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend it,

Cons: The wifi was horrible but the hotel was pretty full so when everyone was on it there was a tendency for it to drop us. It was slow but as I said the hotel was full and the number of users was high.

Pros: The bed, and size of the room. Bathroom was a little small but it was a great shower. Would have been better with detachable shower head, but it worked.

Cons: The location of the room. We were on the 3rd story at the end of the hall, and my husband is disabled with service dogs. A lot of work to go in and out

Pros: Excellent staff. All sections. Very organized breakfast. Other hotels should follow.

Pros: Room was clean. The AC worked. The front desk was nice and polite

Cons: Paying additional tax when we checked in. Never have I've had to do that before?! Usually everything is on the original room charge when booked.

It was just a quick one night stay, but exactly what we needed.

Pros: Breakfast was decent, many choices. Loved the variety of coffees. Staff very friendly. The hotel is old but it has been remodeled and you can tell. Rooms were equipped with newer coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator. The bed very comfortable.

Cons: We were in a room across from a room with a dog. He let us know he was there first thing in the morning.

Breakfast was good staff was very helpful and professional I enjoye my stay

Pros: It was located near different stores and restaurants.

Cons: Parking.

Loved my stay I will be coming back it’s a long trip for me to visit family and the location is great!

Cons: When showering had to lift the drain constantly for the water to go down
