Ocean Palms Beach Resort

Great value and prime location!

Pros: Great location - walking distance to restaurants and of course beach!

Cons: Slightly dated

Overnight in Carlsbad.

Pros: Great location- across a quiet road from the beach. Good bed and linen. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Cons: Breakfast very basic A bit of noise in the morning when bins being collected.

Good vibe and feel with ocean

Wonderful family resort.

Pros: It was in an excellent position for exploring Carlsbad on foot. We were a family of 6, grandparents, son and daughter in law and two grandchildren aged 4 & 7. The kids loved it, they used the pool everyday, went to the beach most days and even used the putting green. We ate in one evening and we had everything we needed for steak on the BBQ plus salads and jacket potatoes. After being in a hotel for a week it was lovely to self cater. We ate out but lots of good restaurants we walked to. The staff were extremely welcoming. If you are a family this is a great beach side Resort.

Wonderful property, great staff, noisy guests!

Pros: The grounds are exceptional Feels like you could be in Hawaii. Lots of flora and fauna, seating, shady areas, firepits, bbqs, decent pool and jacuzzi Very relaxing vibe

Cons: Our room location I didn’t understand why they would put us in between three families with babies, toddlers and dogs! We are a couple without children or dogs Consequently we didn’t get much sleep with crying, barking, banging doors in and out of each others rooms all day and night!

Lovely hotel, great facilities and really nice and helpful staff.

Pros: The resort was in the ideal location opposite the beach, was very clean and perfect for our needs with a laundry room and a jacuzzi!

Cons: I can’t really say that we disliked anything about the property. Maybe it would have been nice to sit longer by the fire pits as we are night owls but that’s all.

Cons: rooms too noisy with windows open for fresh air you could hear lots of chatting. could even hear people in room next door

Ocean Palms Beach Resort was perfect for our family!

Pros: I liked that it was close to the beach and had a pool/jacuzzi. I also liked that it was pet friendly.

Cons: I did not like that I had to go down to check out a hair dryer and pillows. People must steal them?

Ocean Palms is our new favorite place to stay in Carlsbad!

Pros: We love the close vicinity to the beach, walking distance to great restaurants, & shopping. The room was a perfect size for our family of 4. Clean with a great vibe. Staff is friendly & helpful. We appreciated that we were able to get beach chairs for the resort. We have found our new favorite place to stay in Carlsbad!

Cons: We literally LOVED everything about our stay!
