Motel 6 Carlsbad

Great, easy location, wonderful staff

Pros: Great location, easy check-in, spacious and clean room

Cons: Nil

Pros: Room was huge, lots of space to work with. Pet friendly, plenty of places to walk the dog and with doggy bags provided. Bed is super comfortable, especially at this price point. Plenty of parking outside also. Room service was super attentive, even organized our plushes and duvets for us. Everything was super clean.

Cons: Hotel is next to a pretty busy highway and the walls are not nearly thick enough to block out the noise, had to have the TV running every night. Couldn't find the elevator if there is one, had to carry large luggage up stairs, but this was probably just an oversight on my end.

Staff are nice and over all room cleanliness are great.

Pros: Staff are very nice. We stopped here after a long drive from Washington State and right when we are about to park our car won’t start and we didn’t get to park our car with u-haul in the back. And the guy at front desk that time which is between 12am-2am let us park the u-haul on the side while we are waiting for the tow to get our truck and take it to the nearest car shop. The workers that working on the office roof helped my husband to move the u-haul so it won’t be in the way of everything while we are waiting for our car to get tow and fix. We end up staying 2 nights and didn’t worry about anything since we can see our u-haul just outside our room.

Cons: The parking. The parking is too small.

Great for short term

Pros: Updated and clean rooms, bathrooms. Lots of space. In the room.

Cons: Loud freeway noise at night.

Pros: Clean. The staff is great. Property and surrounding area is safe. A lot of restaurants within a couple miles Walk to beach a little over a mile.

Excellent. Place is good to go.

Pros: It looked clean everything was comfortable. Did notice a loose tile in the room but no biggie.

Pros: The rooms were great. Loved having a microwave and fridge. Comfy beds. Good location. Good price.

Cons: Pool closed at dark... would have been great if it were open later.

A clean, great value hotel in Carlsbad

Pros: Cleanest Motel 6 I’ve ever been to. The staff was very nice. The property is well maintained Great breakfast restaurant walking distance from hotel

Cons: Unfortunately, the property is located right next to the I-5 freeway. It makes the location convenient, but the highway noise is loud. Bring earplugs and you will be fine.

Pros: It was close to the freeway. They accommodate are needs.for a downstairs unit. The staff was friendly.

Cons: It's not enough parking.
