The hotel has a modernised, old time vibe.
Pros: Staff at reception desk wss great (with one exception). We were cold and damp the first night. It had rained buckets. The next day we told Chris (if I remember correctly). The maintenance person was waiting for us before we even got back to the room. He fixed the problem immediately. The restaurant, on property, had a good happy hour menu and the service was very good.
Cons: The gentleman at check-in wasn't as welcoming as the reception staff that we encountered later. It was funny, but to be expected, the cute pool floats from the hotel pictures were no longer there.

Great location, spacious room, comfy bed.
Pros: Easy location to get into city and old town, enough parking spaces for everyone. Spacious rooms, comfy beds with good bathroom. All the amenities that you need (TV, fridge, coffee machine etc.)
Cons: Walls felt a bit thin and could hear the conversation of the neighbours easily as well as traffic noise.

Pros: second time here. Was perfect to stay again. The crew that were hired for renewing the parking lot dit a great job. Precisee craftmansship we may observed.

Amazing experience
Pros: The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Super friendly. Very clear with instructions and always willing to help us with any queries we had. They were the best part of our stay.
Cons: If I had to be picky, maybe that there was no utensils for us to use and that we could hear our neighbour through the wall a little. But it wasn't a big deal to us really.

Good location and an amazing breakfast!
Pros: Loved the pool and the great patio area, loved that you could go help yourself to ice at anytime. Beds was comfy and the staff was all so lovely! Loved the breakfast in the hotel highly recommend. I was recommended this property from my friends who have used the property a number of times. And I would book again :) if I was in the area. Reception staff so friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was a weird banging sound (like pipes clanging) but thankfully the beds were so comfy I slept through the banging sound. No lifts to get to the upper floors (trying to take big loaded suitcases up the stairs was hard going) and we was in a room that had a very weird layout we came straight into the room and had to try avoid the huge sink in front of us. I know most rooms are not set up like this.

Gem of a place
Pros: D as I clean, bed was comfortable & had all the amenities required. We didn’t arrive until 2am, I had emailed them earlier & had been reassured our room would still be available, which is reassuring after a 28 hour journey

Living go my Americana era during my recent stay at the Kings Inn
Pros: I enjoyed hanging out at the pool with my child along with the other families. Americana 1950s family vacation vibes were alive and well at the Kings Inn during our recent visit. It reminded us of those golden-era road trips—simple pleasures, neon signs, lawn chairs by the pool, and the kind of charm that’s hard to find these days. A hidden gem for anyone craving a little slice of the past. The convenience of having a fridge in the room was nice as well. We were able to put things in to keep cool before we packed it in our lunch bags for a day outing. The convenience of having the waffle spot there was so handy. We were able to pop in and we were seated quickly, food was yummy, service was great!
Cons: I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay an additional fee for parking. To be honest if I would have known the parking wasn’t included I would have chosen another option. I don’t think it was advertised in the booking website either, which also makes it more disappointing. Other than that I enjoyed everything else.
