Overall, not bad for the price. Try to avoid getting a room by the staircase though.

Pros: Fair price for a last-minute booking. Clean room, with modern decor. Overall not bad for the price.

Cons: Our room door was directly opposite the flight of stairs, making it noisy every time someone walked up or down them. Our room also connected to another room, making it quite noisy whenever our neighbour did anything or came in/out. Desk staff could have been friendlier.

Pros: Everything was a great experience and enjoy the rooms very much. Wish I could have gotten a lower floor cause of my arthritis but made the best of it. Still one of the best hotels in Mission Valley and will continue to stay there for years to come.

Pros: Everything! This is one of my favorite stays in Mission Valley and I usually spend more time there but I love the rooms and how they're furnished. Everything you need and short drive to Food4Less, and any fast food you need. Also close to shopping malls and an area that seems to have anything you need. Tourist spots very close by and access to highways great. Also a good value for the money and will continue to stay there for years to come.

Pros: Everything about this hotel is excellent from the check in to check out. Staff is always efficient and helpful. Parking is plentiful, safe, and well lit. Rooms are spacious and clean with all the furnishings you could need for your stay. A great selection of cable channels to choose from, and beds and linens clean. Location is close to food and retail shopping in Mission Valley and access to highways to get around are close by. Microwave and fridge in every room and quiet for sleeping.

Pros: Facility was a nice, humble atmosphere and plenty of parking. The Front Desk Person was kind and friendly! Room was clean, and the place was in a great location to the beach...easy travels. :)

Cons: We weren't too fond of the pillows...they were hard and oddly shaped (sqaure).

Pros: The hotel was very clean and quiet. The location was close to everywhere we had planned to go. All in all good experience.

Cons: Nothing really there's a liquor store that has snacks next door nearby and also a restaurant you could also order a pizza to your room

I'd stay here again

Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room had nice temperature control, and the place was quiet overall. Convenient to the city and friendly staff. All of my amenities were freshly stocked throughout the stay.

Cons: The room could have used a little more light cleaning before I checked in, but was overall pretty clean.

A no brainer choice and more amenities than most.

Pros: I had asked for a room on the second or 1st floor because I have arthritis in my knees and was accommodated to a nice room and everything worked as it should. HVAC was nice and warm. Microwaves in every room. For those of you who don't know, most of the hotels are doing away with them for safety risks and the rising cost of electricity in SD. HoJo's has become my favorite stay in Mission Valley and is always a pleasure to stay in. Easy access for food and the mission valley library is a short drive. Plenty of shopping choices and free parking.

Cons: No ice machine but I think they're working on getting a new one along with the renovation..
