Brilliant location

Pros: Upgraded to a better view room on check in. Incredible location and great value for money

Cons: Property is a bit dated and bathrooms tight but it is great value for money and you can’t beat the location.

Lovely spot by the beach with plenty of choice for walking, food and entertainment.

Pros: Location, size of room, balcony, friendly and helpful staff, ice machine, fridge, water pressure, pool, outdoor shower to rinse sand off feet. With Woody’s right outside the beach access gate we were set for coffees and the best breakfast options.

Cons: Minor issues: No safe for peace of mind. No chair in room. Shower a bit small for my bulk but did the job.

Pros: The location is fantastic - right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Cons: The parking is ubiquitously expensive $37.50 a night to park in an open lot

Pros: Perfect location, hotel is a little old but it was stil clean. The staff was very friendly and we had a good time.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, and clean room. If you need anything or have problems, just ask and they will provide.

Cons: Nothing much really. If I have to mention something, I would say it would be great if they had a flexible checkout policy. Some hotels offer it, and it sometimes is really helpful especially when you wake up late :p

Spent 5 days visiting our daughter in San Diego and had a lovely time; eventually just laughed about the stupid parking

Pros: Location was great, right on the beach, cute little rooms with comfy beds, balconies overlooking the gorgeous Pacific. Amenities were pretty minimal but we didn’t mind.

Cons: Parking situation: plenty of spaces, we just couldn’t pay. You’re supposed to scan a QR code at the front desk in order to pay for your parking but the app NEVER worked. It never allowed payment. Staff had no clue and actually one manager got attitude basically saying it “wasn’t her problem.” Ridiculous, so we never parked at the hotel fearing getting towed. Eventually (after our return home) someone reached out from LAZ PARKING and said he’d alert his IT support.

Pros: The location was amazing and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful

Relaxing with the sounds and sight of the ocean in a comfortable setting.

Pros: Service was extraordinary! Bed was comfy and sheets/towels were spotlessly white. Hot water when needed. Great view of the ocean close by. Pool was 82 degrees and very clean. Right next to World Famous Restaurant which has fabulous food, and easy walking distance to other restaurants and a grocery store. Other guests were polite and friendly. Dogs were welcome. We will definately go back again as soon as possible.The hoe

Cons: The hotel is older and needs refreshing. However, everything was in working order. A new paint job on the exterior and new carpeting in the hallways would be nice. But this is a beach hotel with kids and dogs, so wear and tear is to be expected.

We had a great stay and would definitely stay again

Pros: We had a great view of the beach, easy beach access. Prefect location to walk all the places we wanted to go to!

Cons: The room was small and the bathroom but nothing too bad
