Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley/Zoo

Great hotel

Pros: Unlimited free coffee throughout your stay. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Pool area is nice and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Lobby and halls well maintained and smelled nice.

Cons: Very little to complain about except we parked in the lot and agreed to the $28 per night parking, we were told where we could park but was not given any permit. In the morning we had a notice on our car to say all residents need a permit and we were at risk of being towed.

Cleaness and kindness: a good combination.

Pros: All was good! The strucure was overall up to standards. We appreciate the room room that was large and clean, but more importantly the professionality and kindness of the staff. The position was good to reach the main points on interest (i.e. 15-20 minutes by car). Overall an accomodation I kindly suggest.

Cons: Maybe there is space to work on the breakfast in order to introduce more choices (i.e. Croassaints, sandwich, etc…). Rooms’ soundproof is a little bit low. The last night we stood in our room we were suddenly awakened by neighbors’ screams.

Pros: Cleanliness and how quite the area was. I got a great night sleep

Cons: I didn't like how the doors inside the room was set up. The sliding doors connects for both bathroom and closet. Plus the sliding door that separate the bedroom from the living room didn't close.

Pros: The room was wonderful. Breakfast was good but repetitive. Swimming pool a little cold (spring time).

Cons: The heated pool should be warmer.

Nice for a short stay

Pros: Comfortable accommodation and a nice complimentary breakfast

Solid airport stopover

Pros: Decent size suite with plenty of room for a family of 4. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good quality- much better than expected! Worked well for a place to stay near the airport.

Cons: You have to pay $25 to park which is steep given the only way get there is by car. Bit overpriced for the location.

Good central location, clean, friendly staff.

Pros: Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice clean rooms.

Cons: We were told we would be called when our room was ready but the call never came. We had to return on our own to find our room ready. Annoying when you’re tired travelers.

Comfortable and clean

Pros: I like the layout of the room and that tv swiveled

Cons: Walls are thin

Other than the heater. Which I didn’t mind too much, I was there for a short time, it was great! Definitely will be back

Pros: Lovely staff, good breakfast. I liked that they had coffee 24/7.

Cons: I could not get my heater to work. I would turn on the heater and cold air would come on.

Clean and friendly

Pros: The rooms were clean and bright. Staff politely and knowledgeable.

Cons: I couldn’t connect to the WiFi in my room.
