Overall, a comfortable stay in a convenient location, with minor issues.

Pros: The hotel had very comfortable beds and pillows and was at a reasonable distance from the San Diego Convention Center. It was also close to Little Italy and the USS Midway Museum.”

Cons: The room I stayed in didn’t have general overhead lighting. I had to turn on several lamps throughout the room to get it fully illuminated. While the lamps did create a cozy atmosphere at night, I think having general lighting is important when needed. Additionally, the hotel places a $150 hold on your card as a security deposit. While some hotels do this, it would be helpful if guests were informed about it in advance.

DEXTRO hotel stay

Pros: Very comfortable room, beds and very clean. Good bathroom and lots of hot water. Free Wifi. Staff were very friendly. Lovely outdoor pool and gym to use on site.

Cons: Quite noisy from a flyover to the main highway, day and night!. Bay View wasn't a good room choice!

Pros: The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Staff very friendly.

Cons: Only complaint, the lighting in the bathroom was not as bright as I would have liked. Shaving could have used a brighter lighting than the defused light from the edges of the mirror. BUT, that's not a deal breaker, still enjoyed my stay.
