A lovely location to visit Solana Beach

Pros: The location was great. We were upgraded by you and the hotel gave us some money off in the end as there was a lot of noisy refurbishment being done at the hotel and there was no access to the pool. However everything else was great and we will return.

Cons: The noisy refurbishments, but we were out during the day and we did get a discount from the hotel as an act of good will. The room was enormous and very well appointed. This is the first time we have stayed in a Marriott hotel, apart from an overnighted at Heathrow and we were very happy with what we found.

Clean, and very comfortable.

Pros: This is a lovely hotel, nice an quiet and our room was the one shown in the pictures on booking.com! Pool area is lovely. The bar across the street is very stylish, classy without being stuffy. Is a short walk to the beach, although there are a lot of steps down to it!

Cons: Nothing bad to report.

Pros: the place was nice and clean and in a very nice area, easy access to public transportation

Pros: Very nice place, close to many good beaches, The room and balcony were nice

Once we received the correct room, we had an enjoyable stay, and plan on returning in January.

Pros: the breakfast was good but the menu was limited and ended at 9;30, so we brought it back to the room. The staff and housekeeping did a great job and were very friendly, especially Carlos on the night shift.

Cons: The breakfast should be until 10:00 AM like many hotels. We had ordered a roll-in shower as my wife is in a wheelchair, We ended up in a regular room, then moved to a handicapped room which had a tub and seat bench. On the third day we were given a room with a roll-in shower. This happens very frequently when we travel.

Very nice hotel

Pros: Very nice hotel. Great room. Clean and well-appointed. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast option in the morning.

Great stay, avoid coffee shop

Pros: Great rooms and location. Desk staff friendly and easy to check in and out

Cons: For breakfast the coffee shop has horrible coffee from a machine dispenser. Food is minimal. You better off go out to a nicer place

Would stay here again

Pros: Great location can walk to beach and many restaurants near Del Mar Race Track big rooms very quiet and relaxing

Cons: Only thing was jacuzzi was very old and very prickly seating needs to be repaved

Pros: Within walking distance of some great restaurants and kitschy shopping district.

Cons: We were there for a soccer tourney and I chose the hotel because they were supposed to have breakfast available, but they were out of everything the entire time we were there. Only one piece of equipment in the workout room was functionality. Everything else was taped off with yellow caution tape.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to beach. Great patio facing the courtyard and pool.

Cons: Someone pulled the fire alarm so we had to evacuate late at night- but not the hotel's fault!
