Unique hotel that’s worth staying at in Del Mar!

Pros: I loved the entire place. Very close to the water. Easy on-site parking. Great location. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Loved the water feature outside and how it was decorated.

Cons: Loved everything.

Pros: Absolutely loved this place! So full of artistic character. Being able to sleep at night with the balcony open and the ocean breeze coming in--was so heavenly. Love the bathtub! The lady at check-in was a nice as can be too.

The perfect place.

Pros: I love this hotel so much. It is funky and wonderful.

Fun place to stay

Pros: Very original property. Boutique style hotel with helpful staff.

Pros: Small hotel with it's own unique style. We booked the room for the little private patio with table and chairs overlooking a small but very lush and lovely garden. Nice to sit out in the evening. Room was comfy and clean, with fridge and microwave, and there was free coffee and fruit outside from 7am. The staff were all very nice. Plenty of free parking. We had a ground floor room, no steps. Hotel is just off the main Del Mar Road, so easy walking to restaurants and beach (5 mins walk across the train tracks, which adds to the ambiente) etc

Cons: All was great. This is an older property, so not for people looking for the most modern facilities, but we were happy

Pros: This is a great property with loads of charm. The hosts are lovely and accommodating. If you're looking for the Hilton, don't stay here. If you want something local, charming and brimming with character, you will love this! It's quiet, clean, and the beds were comfy. Our garden view room (there isn't really much of a garden) had a small outdoor space with a cafe table and chairs. It was nice to be able to open the doors to enjoy the ocean breeze. The room had a sink, small fridge and microwave. They offer free parking (a big bonus in Del Mar) and it's within easy walking distance to everything you're going to love about the village in Del Mar...the great cafes, restaurants and fabulous beach. A very short drive to the race track and 10 minutes to the freeway. We would absolutely stay here again.

Interesting place to stay.

Pros: A quint and quirky motel with a very special decor made it an interesting stay. The hosts were lovely and gave good information about the motel and the few places in town which weren't closed for winter.

Lovely Japanese-style room in California

Pros: The hotel has a lovely feel and a lot of character. The room I stayed in was on the ground floor and had a small balcony at the back overlooking a small back garden. The décor was great, with a mix of Japanese and western style for the furniture and room design. Check-in and out was quick and simple and private parking available in front of the hotel. Overall great for the price. And also, 200m away from the beach!

Cons: Nothing major to mention here. Perhaps it would be nice to have a larger common area: there isn't really a common space where to hang out. It's more similar to a motel in this, with rooms directly accessible from the front of the building.

Pros: The staff was very accommodating, and they had all the amenities that was listed and functional.
