Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego-Del Mar

The best stay I've ever had in the US thanks to this hotel!

Pros: The staff at this hotel are utterly exceptional. While the facilities are superb, its these guys that make this hotel! Needless to say, on my next visit to San Diego I will be returning! The customer service experience in this hotel is 6 stars! You really won't get any better! It made my stay!

Cons: Zilch!

Great hotel

Pros: Comfortable, spacious, clean, great to have the kitchen inside the room, gym was useful

Cons: My room smelled of smoke, breakfast is very limited (some vegetables and less processed food could be nice)

Pros: The breakfast was incredible. Everything in the room was clean and confortable.

Cons: Near that location to go anywhere you need to use a car. Walking is not an option.

A pleasant one-day journey

Pros: The structure is partially updated, but is 80%... 80's style, but I liked it. My room was tidy, all furniture were in excellent condition, also the bathroom. The choice is almost complete for both types of breakfast - sweet or not. Hot coffee is available also deca. The waiters could be offer other hot beverages, but I didn't ask. No plain yogurt was available. The space to have a table is enough, there's also a little garden outside with some tables. All staff personnel was kind and smile-ready.

Cons: Only some very secondary thing. My room was at ground level, with windows on the parking area, that is used also by garbage trucks with relevant noises. The lack of power sockets available close to night stands or other furniture, you can recharge your mobile in bathroom only.

Pros: Everything! The staff was exceptionally helpful, the suite was clean, comfortable and roomy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Better than average

Pros: The breakfast room was nice size with plenty of tables. Pretty nice selection as well.

Cons: See no reason to have to pay for parking.

Great hotel in Del Mar

Pros: Maddie at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. She gave us recommendations for restaurants and was always available to answer any questions. Breakfast had a lot of good choices and the food was very good. Room and the hotel were very clean. Pool area looked great but we did not get to use it.

Cons: The room was a little old

Cons: Outside heaters not working 😞
