Pros: Very nice hotel in good location for a good price. Chosen for convenient access while driving from Los Angeles. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is tasty. Big plus for everyday free cookies and hot drinks.

Not completely perfect for reasons mentioned but very happy regardless. I’ll be back.

Pros: Very clean, comfortable, and well situated. Nice gym area. I’ll stay again if ever in town.

Cons: The bathrooms should be updated, the bathtub/shower were very dated however the shower worked well regardless. I’m not sure a bathtub is needed nowadays, just nice, modern, walk in shower would have been great. On a side note, the rooms do not have a safe. I was uncomfortable with this at first but used my pass coded suitcase as a safe in the end. A minor unfortunate thing is the pool area doesn’t get sun past 11am as it’s blocked by the building itself. Still some nice hours to be had in the sun if up early enough.

We will be back. We liked the free breakfast and parking!

Pros: Great location! Just off the 805. 30 minutes to downtown SD. The breakfast was one of the best we've experienced in our travels!

Cons: We can't use duvets so we used the blanket and it was in poor condition. Mattress was a little old.

Overall I ll say Good

Pros: Location, Staff, cleanness all good room sizes, housekeeping all really good as was here to drop my son to UCSD, the location & stay was biggest plus & comfortable in terms of being close to UCSD campus

Cons: Being vegetarian, was expecting something really Asian Veg. in the breakfast, but was getting only potatoes in different form + fruits breads yogurt juice as regular items.. anyways manageable :)

The stay was exceptional for the price and close to many amazing San Diego attractions.

Pros: First, all of the staff were amazing. They were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was great. It has been a while since I’ve had an included breakfast that offered as much as the Country Inn. The food was amazing at the Fireside Inn and very reasonably priced. We ended up choosing to eat there a second time after such delicious food (chicken quesadilla is recommended). The bar and bartender was also great. Very friendly. Finally, we were 20 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to visit.

Cons: I really could not think about anything bad. We were initially a little worried about an outside pool, but ended up loving it.
