San Diego Marriott La Jolla

Pros: Everything was good and well organised and up to standard for a business visit. Just few minor issues but nothing major. See below.

Cons: I can't understand why I should pay for wi-fi. I can't register to the Marriot bonvoy network for some reasons. It's 2024 internet is an essential service, please don't make it more difficult. Breakfast was included in this booking but staff was not clear on what kind of breakfast I was and in which room I should get it. I always got a different answer every time...but at least I managed to get the breakfast every morning. Bit of a comedy.

Excellent stay.

Pros: The location was calm and good, and easy access to dining and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A very very pleasant stay

Pros: The staff was very professional. They were funny. I was having surgery the next day and they made it as a home feeling. I appreciate that. The food and drinks were reasonable

Great stay, lobby looked better than the rooms, needs renovations.

Pros: I loved the location it was great, near the beaches the mall and so pretty! The loby was nice and parking was cheap.

Cons: It’s a little outdated, the rooms need a renovations!

It’s a simple hotel that has everything I need for my travels. I would stay there again.

Pros: At first I thought I would have to pay for parking but the hotel has their guests covered. When I was checking out the staff let me know what I could do to avoid that. It was simple and easy. I loved they had starbucks inside as well as walking distance. It was only a 7 minute drive away from the offices I had a work meeting so it was great!

Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: Nos gusto el hotel, ya nos hemos quedado en otros hoteles Marriot, pero este se nos hizo de los mejores

Cons: No nos gusto que unos de los elevadores estaba sucio, estuvimos de sabado a domingo. El sabado por la noche alguien tiro algo en unos de los elevadores y el domingo que salimos, aun seguia igual

Great hotel and customer service.

Pros: Good. Expensive for an omelette for sure. And I did not like including the gratuity into the cost of the coupon.

Glad you have some staff that believes in customer service. That makes a difference.

Pros: My experience was decent/challenging. What made this review go up is the person I spoke to when I checked out. She was very kind. I appreciate her understanding. I told her I wanted to have a great hotel experience. While that was not the exact case she made me want to give Marriott another try. I did not get her name, but I thank you for your sweet demeanor.

Cons: I paid additional for an upper room. My room was on the fifth floor. The bathroom was not satisfactorily cleaned. Tub was dirty, hair in the corner on the floor, and shower gel was not refilled.
