Hotel La Jolla

Pros: View of the ocean from the balcony Size of the room

Cons: Shower head

Pros: Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Pros: Laila was such a delight and so were all the front desk employees they really made my stay impeccable

I would stay again as the shower drain is a fixable issue, but please fix!

Pros: Location, vibe, parking, cute rooftop bar, large balcony

Cons: The shower did not drain well at all. It was pretty gross to stand in basically all of our shower water after being at the beach.. when it finally all drained later on the shower floor looked gross

Stay was great, hidden fees were the issue.

Pros: My issue was the front desk asking for a deposit for incidentals which we knew nothing about then asking if we drove and would we need a parking pass instead of disclosing there would be a parking pass fee, she did not and at the ens of the stay we were charged $45 which i am not happy about because had she told us there would be a $45 fee to park for one night we would have parked up the street.

Cons: Hidden fees not disclosed up front.

Pros: location is really great room was a good size (4 adults traveling) higher level floors have a great view Nice conference room upstairs as well

Cons: Would be nice to have coffee available in lobby in morning. Outside pool does not have bar service during week

This hotel is a gem. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Pros: The location is excellent - not too far from the airport and easy access to beaches and La Jolla. The lobby and outside patio/bar/pool area are very cool and perfectly California chic. The room was very comfortable. The ocean view was amazing.

Cons: Probably due to the fact that hotel room doors are all exterior doors, we would get smoke smells wafting into the room periodically. The bathroom is getting to the point where it needs to be updated again or regrouted around the shower.

Exceptional

Pros: Everything very clean and room service was really good

Cons: Elevator didn’t work

Rehabilitating for me.

Pros: I liked the room, the furniture, the bathroom, and the television operation. I also thought the staff was friendly and authentic.

Cons: I didn't like that I was surprised with a mandatory $30 voucher for breakfast that was not advertised. The breakfast was good though, so maybe it was okay.
