Great location, wonderful staff but hotel needs some attention.

Pros: The location is the best selling feature of this hotel being right on the beach in the La Jolla area. The shuttle service was incredibly convenient.

Cons: The hotel is tired looking. It needs renovation. Breakfast wasn’t included in the room.

Excellent place to say for family vacation

Pros: Great location, on the beach. Love that the hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas and towels

Perfect summer family vacation

Pros: Loved how easily accessible it was to the beach, pool and local shops/restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere within La Jolla Shores and surrounding areas (1.5-2mi walk with a bit of hills but still very approachable and able to walk with a double stroller). Property also had daily activities like making bracelets, sno-cones, s’mores, kids trivia, and ping pong tournaments.
