Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine

Very comfortable stay in SD, lovely staff.

Pros: Really loved the pool area with the hot tub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Like to specifically mention front desk manager Justin, who always swiftly took care of our requests 😊 Free parking available at the nearby street.

Cons: Water pressure in the shower could be better, but maybe it has environmental reasons.

Pros: Nice hotel personal, helping with the accomodation to meet our needs. Very good restaurant, the food is really good there.

Cons: Unfortunately, the pool was not clean - lots of sand, hairs, ... It's a pity because with not much effort it might have been cleaned. While we were told it is cleaned every morning, no matter when we came, it's never been clean.

Pros: The pool was great for the kids, good service with helpful staff.

Pros: They gave us free onsite parking due to the inconvenience of having the water shut off from 10pm through 5am

Cons: Scheduled maintenance to plumbing the night I stayed and informed us that the water would be shut off from 10pm through 5am. I got to the hotel at around 9pm which only gave me and my family an hour of water use which forced us to rush. They never actually turned the water off though so in the end there was no reason for us to rush which was frustrating.

Pros: Typical Hyatt standard, all good and well kept, room and bathroom very nice, great view from room

Cons: High extra cost for parking, we decided to park on the street for free which was not a problem at all

Relaxing

Pros: The hotel was absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect and we were able to relax, even with our 2 year old! The staff was friendly and helpful. Drift and Shor were both super tasty. 😊

Pros: - Fast check in and out very friendly and helpful staff at reception - Convenient parking in the hotel garage - Modern appliances in bathroom - good mattresses

Cons: - a little outdated lightning system in room with separate switches for every lamp - no hooks to hang clothing - bedding: sheets too loose, duvet covers would be much preferable

Pros: The location was perfect to the event I attended. Unfortunately I could not stay the entire stay due to the hurricane that was predicted to come that did on Sunday am . The concierge was very understanding in allowing me to check out a day earlier after contacting Booking.com and being instructed that this would be handle by the front rest manager at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. Everyone was very understanding of the situation with the severe weather predictions of hurricane Hilary.

Excellent jacuzzi, food, personnel, services, and location

Pros: Excellent food—especially liked the brussel sprouts!!! Jacuzzi was wonderful. Close to great shopping and easy access to freeways. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Friends and family who called me thru hotel phone system were amazed at how friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable the telephone personnel were. All calls were answered in a few rings by friendly people!
