Studio with Large Balcony- San Diego Gateway

Perfect location for a weekend stay.

Pros: Perfect location for my stay, as I was running the san diego half marathon and the start line was just a few blocks away, just across from balboa park, which you can see from the balcony. Little italy and downtown are 20 minutes away walking, and theres a cvs pharmacy around the corner.

Cons: A bit small, but as we were just two it was perfect. Three persons can fit, but it would be a bit too crowded.

Pros: The staff is really friendly and helpful, the studio is spacious and we enjoyed eating on the balcony with a nice view on the park. It is possible to park on the streets adjoining the studio, or you can decide to use their parking place. It is true that the planes fly right above, but it was not disturbing for us, and they provided ear plugs in case you need them.

Cons: Nothing really, was just hoping there was something more to do in the area on a \

Pros: Centrally located, close to Balboa park and a short Under to downtown, apartment was clean and had all the facilities

Cons: It is in the approach path for the airport landing, not a big deal but a little noisy on the balcony

The most helpful staff - shipped me luggage I left behind

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The staff were so nice and helpful - they were available during their office hours and were always happy to help or answer questions. We arrived early (around midday) and were able to get our room immediately. There was a washing machine and dryer near the office - staff provided detergent and change from dollar notes for the machine. The staff offer to store luggage securely in their office before check-in and after check-out. I mistakenly forgot an item of luggage at the property and messaged staff - they were able to ship the parcel to me the next day!!! The room was spotless and spacious, with a lovely couch and balcony overlooking the park. Fridge, sink, microwave, plates and cutlery in the cupboard provided. Location was also wonderful, right opposite an entrance to Balboa park (zoo, museums etc), cafes and restaurants nearby, and a short ride to Little Italy and Gaslamp district. Excellent management, professional staff, good value for money

Pros: The property has an excellent location, the room was clean and the staff was very attentive. I strongly recommend this property to anyone visiting San Diego. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: No one seems to have cleaned floors in while. After walking briefly with not socks on my feet were dirty from floor.

Cons: The Roku connection was super unstable, which made it a little harder to relax in the room. The bed was a little uncomfortable but was still good.

Buena estadía, muy limpio y los chicos de recepción nos dejaron hacer uso de la oficina para dejar nuestras pertenencias

Pros: Tenía un lindo balcón para disfrutar de las vistas al parque. Y el check in lo pudimos hacer antes de tiempo.

Cons: Solo faltaría una mesa pequeña junto al sofá para poder comer dentro del estudio ya que no siempre hay buen clima para comer fuera.

Pros: El lugar es cómodo y muy limpio, ideal para dos personas , éramos tres ya un poco apretado, la ubicación es buena si te vas a mover en auto, hay transporte público en la zona , solo algunas rutas poco accesibles eso dificulta la movilidad, los anfitriones súper atentos.

Cons: Hay zonas muy sucias en los alrededores , homeless por mucho , triste realidad de las ciudades en USA

Pros: It's perfect. Very clean and nice. Before leaving I had read reviews and was worried about airplane noise. I have to say they are impressive, they fly so low, that my children were very excited, it was like fun. And when you close the balcony door you magically hear nothing. People who complained about noise slept with the door open. If you're wondering like me looking at the images where all the other beds are, I'll tell you, the sofa becomes a full twin, a bed that is Queen size, from underneath which another twin size opens up. Then it was equipped with everything; towels, soaps, brushes and toothpaste. Like in a hotel. We loved the balcony. My kids want to come back to San Diego and they want to come back to this very studio. I think it's worth it.
