Right in the heart of Balboa Park and all of its attractions

Pros: This place is literally across the street from Balboa Park! You can walk over the cabrillo bridge right into the heart of Balboa Park and enjoy all of the museums and attractions. The apartment has a small kitchenette that includes a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. For those that love patios and balconies. There is a huge balcony with enough room to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the view of the park. For those that love this location for being close to Balboa Park and Seaport village, it is amazing!

Cons: Yes there was the sound of airplanes landing, which is typical for bankers Hill and anywhere near the airport. But the view and location make up for the occasional plane flying overhead. Ear plugs are highly recommended and I kind of wish the property might include them for their guests in the future 🙂

Convenient downtown location

Pros: Very secure. Three sets of locks to get into rooms. Front gate lock, floor lock and then room lock. In spite of being in the flight path, the room was quiet. Also liked the patio. Enjoyed my coffee there.

Cons: Purchased parking on site for 2 nights. While there was free parking across the street, it seemed safer for the car and me to be in their parking lot.

Close to many points of interest

Pros: across the street from balboa park. Walking distance from downtown, harbor, little Italy, airport...

Cons: On the airport landing flight path so it's a little loud on the balcony. It is not too bad when inside with door closed. Space is a little tight for 3 people. There was a little hiccup with our check in but the property manager showed up in about 15 minutes and straightened it out.
