Hyland Inn near Legoland

Pros: Excellent service, excellent rooms, nothing extra, everything is tasteful, cozy and clean.

Pros: Room smells and looks clean and location feels safe. Its near park, and short driving distance to restaurants near Oceanside train station We had a good rest at the place

Cons: When we showered during the day (around 9.30-10.15am) the shower was cold compared to the shower at night

Pros: Friendly staff, option for an early (paid) check in, clean comfortable for a one night stay.

Always an excellent day in Carlsbad

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel many times before, and I am always happy with the service. The rooms were cleaned every day, and I was happy with the friendly staff. The room had all advertised amenities, and was very comfortable. They are currently renovating some of the rooms, but they had planned this carefully and the Workmen on site did not at all interrupt or disrupt my stay. I look forward to staying in the renovated rooms next year.

Cons: The only thing I don’t like about this property, is some of the negative reviews which do seem a little offputting. It would be good if hotel management could dispute some of these clearly untrue reviews on their website, to put the minds of future guests at ease.

Pros: The room is spacious and the refrigerator and microwave are easy to use. I'll come back next time if I have a chance.

Cons: It is close to the road, a little noisy, but it does not affect sleeping at night.

A nice stay in Carlsbad

Pros: I have stayed here before and chose to return. This hotel is basic but very clean and comfortable. The room has all advertised amenities and matched exactly the photos on Booking.com. Staff are friendly. I would stay here again in the future.

Cons: The rooms don’t have many towels and I had to keep asking for more. I had some very noisy neighbours and I’m not sure staff handled it as proactively as I had hoped.

Pros: Bed were comfortable. The reception people were nice. Big parking lot.

Cons: The heater smell burn, and the restroom shower head was leaking water making a puddle of water. And people were smoking outside of their rooms when it said no smoking.
