Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort

Will stay there again

Pros: Perfect location to beach and restaurants. Room spacious and clean.

Cons: Stay was as expected. I've stayed there a few times and always enjoyed.

Pros: The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was good. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oceanside.

Beware of the catch!

Pros: The room was nice and the staff was great. Location was right on the beach which was really ideal.

Cons: The cable was atrocious. No cable channels and no smart TV. They asked us to sit through a 90 minute presentation (which turned into a 2 hour pressure sales session). They didn't disclose any of the prices of what they were selling, which by the way are time shares. We left feeling violated and a bit confused. We don't plan on ever going back to Wyndham. Even though they offered us a free 2 day stay later, it's attached to having to sit through ANOTHER 2 hr presentation! Sorry. I've had enough. Since we found this on Booking.com, we suggest there be some warning or disclosure about these types of rentals.

Oceanside Pier

Pros: The location is prime. Large accessible room. Clean and good in-room amenities. Nice staff.

Cons: Being pitched by the concierge first thing about a breakfast presentation. They were very nice, just that we were tired from a long travel day and had an ill parent that needed some rest. Would have liked some sort of pool service or food and drink options at tge hotel.

If you are wanting a hotel where your only wish is location, then this is it.

Pros: The location was great. Able to walk out to pier from front lobby. We were lucky to have a patio but it did face the parking lot and train.

Cons: Overpriced for what you get even with our deal on Booking.com. Parking $40 extra a day. No food service. Every employee tried to sell you a timeshare every chance they got.

Pros: Close to everything. Bed very comfortable ans enjoyed the Sky lounge and pool. Room very quiet. Had an ADA room, shower and jet tub was fantastic. Vallet was a very nice touch.

Cons: Being called and texted for 2 days by your high pressure sales representative non-stop!. Little too much for parking. TV never worked, all that came through was the Club Wyndham channel. Seemed like sales of properties

Awesome Place! Awesome Location!

Pros: The location was perfect for us! Right at the pier. Fun activities were constantly going on at the pier area, and you could rent bikes just a few steps away. The view was AMAZING! There are lots of little boutique type shops in the area, and plenty of restaurants around. The staff was friendly and super accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be planning to stay again.

Cons: The staff is required to invite you to attend a time-share sales pitch. We politely declined, and everything else about the experience was wonderful!

I loved it so much I will be back

Pros: I loved the jacuzzi in my room and in the pool area . I was able to enjoy the sunset at poolside and it was amazing you got a clear view . I didn’t lift a finger checking in , it was great!

Pros: Everything you need is nearby. Restaurants, beach, shopping.

Cons: A/C was a bit loud. Took awhile to fall asleep.
