The Cassara Carlsbad

Cassara is an exceptional property for families!

Pros: The Cassara was exceptional. The accessibility and location to Legoland was fantastic. Staff were bright, cheery, and accommodating. The food was amazing. Rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Cons: Nothing! We loved it all!

The stay was good overall, but overpriced in my opinion.

Pros: The location was perfect for us. The grounds were nice.

Cons: The beds were too soft, back hurt for me and my sons later. The room walls were dirty. We had spiders in the bathroom.

Pros: Very comfortable room and good customer service. Let down by charging for parking.

Cons: Disappointed after checking out and looking at my bill to find I had been charged for parking. Not good attention to detail as I did not have a car. No-one had asked or checked.

Pros: It features beautiful decor. We had access to the well-equipped gym.

Cons: The gym could benefit from a few weight machines (currently only has free weights).

Pros: We chose this hotel primarily for the proximity to Legoland. It was so easy to walk from the lobby to Legoland! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions and requests.

We have stayed at all the hotels on and around Legoland. This was one of our favorites.

Pros: Suites perfect for family of 4 with dogs. Easy going dog policy and placing us close to a floor level spot they could easily go to bathroom was really nice Also having access to sister hotel (grand pacific) was nice as well as they had a kid pool, arcade, playground and rec center that loaned play equipment Sad we didn’t get to use the e bikes that were first hour ride included. Next time.

Cons: The bathroom sliding door between toilet/shower area did not close all the way(pocket door) and the phone to the front desk and kitchen did not work

Pros: Our room view was exceptional I’m still here enjoying it ! Pool amazing jacuzzi largest one with beautiful views of the whole area . New restaurant in house great breakfast and staff ! Conner was awesome 😎

Pros: The property was very beautiful, location ideal as it was within walking distance of shopping and attractions - as well as the beach. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious and very comfortable.

Cons: There was confusion as to how to redeem the breakfasts which were included with our stay and the service was a bit slow at times and the food included in the buffet was not replenished in a timely fashion as no one was monitoring it. Also, the many charges on my final invoice were very confusing and I was very displeased when I saw that I was charged $32 for parking for each day when, in fact, I did not have a vehicle with me as I came in on an airport shuttle and relied on my members for transportation during my stay. Fortunately, there was no problem removing the charge when I contacted the property.
