Motel 6-Escondido

Pros: The room is very clean, staff are excellent, professional, helpful, location is unbeatable within walking distance to food. I extended my stay there by two weeks! One easy improvement I would recommend is to make available good shampoo and body wash and perhaps put a microwave or toaster oven in the lobby area. These would make my rating a 10!

Pros: Clean, quiet and well maintained. Not much in the way of soap or shampoo in the room but it was clean and the parking lot was well lit. Some reviews said it was in a bad neighborhood, but I thought it was fine. Clean no weeds or trash or falling down buildings and only a couple homeless in the area. Pretty good for a city in Southern California in the winter. Good value for the price.
