The Inn at Sunset Cliffs

Pros: The views, the swimming pool and the bed was good.

Cons: The rooms for people with (young) children are above and the rooms for couples like us are downstairs, so the noise early mornings when you still want to sleep is not nice. Maybe you can change this, making bedrooms for couples above with silence. And bedrooms downstairs for young families they like to sit next to the swimming pool.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic stay! Will be back!

Pros: The location is simply stunning. The layout of the hotel, the room we had was fantastic, 2 bedroom suite. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was great. The view is beautiful. This was the end of our holiday and the only disappointment I had was we had only booked 1 night. Any member of stall we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was great, nice size. There is a gas station opposite and a supermarket within 12-15 min walk alongside some bars and restaurants . We chose to buy picky snacks and a bottle of wine and sit enjoying the view for our one dinner. Couldn’t find fault. Such a peaceful hotel, peaceful location. Just serene and heavenly!

Cons: I only had 1 night here! Wish it was more!

Pros: The setting was beautiful, room spacious and staff very very friendly and helpful. Spending an evening sitting on the terrace with stunning views, listening to the waves, wonderful memory

Pros: Loved the garden and outlook. Liked that comfortable chairs and tables were provided outside for guests to use to relax or eat their own food

Cons: Not sure how often the pool water is changed?

Pros: Right on the beach & lovely views. Clean rooms & pool. Car parking at side of Inn. Only stayed 1 night but walked into main town about 15-20 mins & found places to eat & shops. Supermarket across the road which was handy.

Cons: Only thing was a slight problem after breakfast morning after -Battery was faulty on my Door & keycard would not unlock my room but it was reported promptly to management & maintenance. Receptionist managed to get access so I could get in & out & I was checking out anyway @ 11:00am so it was no big deal.

What a Great Stay!!!

Pros: My wife and I spent Mar 10-15 at Sunset Cliffs. It was a beautiful little hotel with fantastic views of the ocean and sunset! The staff especially Katelyn were excellent! Rooms were cleaned daily and it was such a romantic time!

Cons: My only complaint and it is MINOR, was there was no cable TV. It seemed to be set up for streaming and being from Canada watching ESPN was impossible. However since it was a romantic getaway I didn't miss the lack of sports watching.

Family was happy to be close to beaches.

Pros: Staff were great never had any problems getting in. Plus young man at the desk graciously helped with getting our flight boarding passes. View was very comfortable as well. Parking was easy for how busy it was.

Cons: Somewhat disappointed in the fact website was misleading and at the cliff patio was washed away. Plus when we asked about rides to the beach there was nothing available anymore which also misleading on your web page. The web site should be updated. That being said it still was a comfortable environment.

This location provided us with the best possible San Diego experience. We would definitely return!

Pros: Fabulous view. Loved sleeping to the sound of the ocean waves. For us it was a perfect location.. Lots of places to take long walks. Staff was very nice.

Cons: Though the rooms were made up daily, the floors were seemingly not cleaned/swept.

Pros: Great view and entertainment ie; the Lounge singer .

Cons: The stair to the second floor were slanted downward felt unsafe but we managed. The shower drain in our room #209 was very slow and we had to stand in a flood shower floor . A/c units leak a lot of condensation onto the walkway, right outside our room, causing a slip hazard .

Pros: Beautifully situated, next to the ocean and the view was spectacular, clean rooms

Cons: Only one bathroom for two bedrooms suite, parking is first come, first served….very hard to find parking if you come around sunset time. Lots of local are there to view the sunset
