Redwood Hollow Cottages

Pros: Super nice atmosphere perfect location. Only in the room I missed a small table or desk.

Pros: great location , beautiful thoughtful decor, stunning gardens, comfy bed, very clean, well appointed kitchen

Cons: it was december when I visited and the evenings were very cold , I would have appreciated a proper warm Duvet on the bed

We will come back for sure if we can get ourselves back to La Jolla!

Pros: Amazing location, so close to the beach but like a tranquil oasis. 5 mins walk to fabulous food spots too. Couldn’t fault it.

Pros: The vibe was really nice. The gardens and outside layout were stunning. The cabin was sweet and quaint and had nice little touches like the nice smelling soap, the bathrobes and little nick-nacks around. I wasn't expecting the use of the outside shared space and it was a real bonus.

Cons: The mattress could've been harder; it was comfy to rest on but not so much for a good night's sleep (for me!) The kitchen was a little small for 2 chairs and a table right next to the fridge and so you couldn't get into the fridge without moving the chair - so it was a little awkward

We loved our quaint and historic cottage and being so close to the beach.

Pros: This is an ideal place to stay if you want to be within 5 minutes of walking to the beach and 15 minutes of walking to loads of restaurants, shops, and La Jolla Cove. The staff was super responsive and helpful.

Cons: A small maintenance would be great, also very little space to keep things and to cook

Wonderful original Cottages in a great location.

Pros: Charm & character of the authentic cottages. The location of the cottages was great with the sea and local restaurants shops all at walking distance.

Cons: Just a minor thing: the placement of light switches and electricity sockets.

This is a lovely location. The hollow is mostly shady, which would be a benefit in hot weather.

Pros: Great location, beautiful gardens and clean, pretty and spacious accommodation. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of hot water and a great shower. Friendly service and easy parking on the street when the parking was full.

Cons: No housekeeping services during our stay.

Pros: Located close to the beach and we walked to so many killer restaurants we walked to.
