The Bower Coronado

An excellent hotel in a great location

Pros: The hotel was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were beautifully and tastefully furnished. The rooftop bar was superb. Highly recommended.

Great amenities

Pros: Lovely boutique property. Excellent location and very close to beach (though not right on it) - right across from the Del but without all the crowds at the Del! Free bikes were great - Coronado is an easy flat place to bike. Really liked the free beach chairs and bag of towels they will give you to go enjoy the beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons: The gym is very small - good equipment but in a windowless small room so ideally you need to hope no one else working out at same time as you! This is a low rise hotel so you’ll have traffic noise if your room is at the front of property

Great hotel stay, skip the Dive bar

Pros: Amazing hotel just behind the Del. A shame the Del blocks the view of the beach but it’s so close you can have a very similar experience in a fresher and cleaner hotel.

Cons: The Dive bar on the top floor isn’t great. It’s almost a nice spot but the views are limited and the staff aren’t very attentive. They are exceptional elsewhere.

A Lovely Stay in a Gorgeous Hotel

Pros: What a fantastic hotel! Everything about our stay was perfect. We absolutely loved the rooftop bar, and getting to use the free electric bikes to see Coronado was a huge plus. Our room was lovely, too. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in the neighborhood!

Cons: Expensive parking in the hotel

Good for value, clean, and marvelously lux

Pros: Clean, close by to the beach and overall good position on the Coronado island

Cons: Windows are either facing the street or buildings

Pros: Le décor du bower est vraiment très agréable, il est à quelque blocks de mon travail ce qui le rend vraiment très interessant. il est idéalement situé et la vue lorsque vous êtes coté rue est très agréable. J'ai adoré trouver des croissants et du café dans les espaces communs lors de mon premier voyage.

Cons: Je suis déçue de voir que les chambres du rez-de-chaussée ne bénéficient pas de café et qu'il faille monter dans les étage pour se servir alors que le lobby est très agréable et habituellement tristement vide et inutilisé. Les chambres du Rez-de-chaussée donnant sur l'arrière du bâtiment ont des petites cours qui nécessiteraient plus de verdure haute pour se cacher du bâtiment à proximité.

Pros: Ubicación excepcional, la decoración del hotel y los cuartos, una gran opción para hospedarse en Coronado.

Cons: Todo estuvo excelente

The Bower exceeded expectations from the welcoming staff to the Dive rooftop. Can’t wait to come back.

Pros: Very clean, conveniently located, staff was kind and very helpful; loved the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas.
