Good hotel with super kind staff and clean rooms

Pros: Wonderful staff, clean renovated rooms, good for conference area closeness

Cons: The pool area was very deserted and missed a bit of greenery

Pros: Amaising breakfast was server,plenty of choice,nothing missing at all

Great hotel downtown San Diego

Pros: Fantastic location, great view, nice executive lounge

Cons: The hotel needs a renovation, bathrooms are outdated and in part with some damages- does not fit to the first class positioning

Fantastic staff. Large room in an impressive and well located hotel.

Pros: Service was fantastic, all the staff were friendly and proactive. The facilities were great: pool, gym, rooftop bar, shops etc. The room was large and spacious and had a great view.

Cons: Some of the items in the room were getting a bit shabby, scuff marks and ripped carpet. The door on the room was not well insulated for sound, I could hear everyone in the hallway and the cleaners in the service rooms next door.

Fussy Brits give it a big thumbs up

Pros: Exceptional breakfast with very attentive, welcoming staff. Great gym. Close to Seaport village for shops and dining on the evening. Discounts offered on attractions and free Harbour Cruise. Great room decor, wood floors in room rather than carpets - much more hygienic!

Cons: Being brits, we would have loved a kettle in the room. Husband didn’t love the bed for his back. Would have liked a duvet cover rather than folded sheet system as don’t like coming into contact with duvet that other people have used. Think this is the American hotel way however. Little bit noisy at night with certain engines whizzing up the promenade but amazing views compensate! In summary, for fussy brits travelling with 8yo and 16yo, this hotel exceeded expectations.

Good location and Views

Pros: The view from our room was incredible, and the location is close to transit and seaport. Highly recommended!

Cons: The towels were a bit dirty, had stains on them. Also the staff can respond to our request bit faster. I called the front desk requesting some hygiene products but waited bit long.

Excellent amenities and location. Helpful staff.

Pros: Staff were excellent. My wife had a booking through work, but my daughter and I were arriving a night earlier so booked the same room type through booking.com. Staff assigned the same room so that we could have one continuous stay without having to check out and back in. There is a sports center on the roof with - my daughter loved pickleball and we played countless hours there and also at the pool. Very easy walk to supermarket and the Gaslamp Quarter. Views over the marina were the icing on the cake. Close to Santa Fe Terminal if arriving by train as we did.

Cons: Resort Fee - not uncommon these days though. Charged per day (included in booking.com price) but only gives you benefits like 1 bike hire voucher per guestroom per stay so makes it a bit impractical to use.

Pros: Located in a wonderful area, you can reach most of the attractions by walking.

Cons: Everything is good

Very nice but be careful what standard of room you book.

Pros: View was beautiful. Room very nice as it was refurbished. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location close to the bay and several restaurants.

Cons: Some of the public areas such as hallways need upgrading. The pool area could be lovely but again it needs an upgrade.
