Pros: It was really clean, the food and at the bar were great. The staff was really nice.

Cons: The parking fees are ridiculous.

I had expected something different, but ultimately I was very pleased.

Pros: The Moxy is a boutique hotel with its own vibe. You have to love it. The location was excellent, on the border of the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Breakfast is very limited, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Cons: The rooms are relatively small. Good bed and nice bathroom, but no wardrobes, no mini fridge and a very small desk that is not really suitable for working on a laptop. The first night I had a room at the front. It was awful, noisy not only because of the traffic but mainly because of the comedy club and disco opposite the hotel. The other five nights I had a room at the back. It was a whole different world.

Pros: Nicely designed hotel with a fun vibe, in a good location with very helpful staff.

Cons: I would have preferred a duvet rather than a blanket and sheet, but perhaps that's just personal preference!

I willl be back!

Pros: Loved the vibe of the foyer, including the music and the layout of tables, chairs and games ariound. The staff were excellent. And really helpful. The rooms had everything you needed without the clutter. Coffs and tea was available in the foyer area.

Cons: There wasn’t anything!

Pros: Staff happy to transfer me to a quiet room when I asked.

Cons: Initial room allocated was on the streetside of the building... VERY noisy .. lively part of town.

Fab location

Pros: Great location in Gaslamp district, friendly staff and decent room

Cons: Acoustics not great as could hear next door. Lighting in atrium was on all night so had to be careful to completely close the blinds. Lighting in the room on sensors which went off when in the shower! Drinks on arrival nice idea but a horrible taste!
