Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service

Pros: A beautiful and immaculate hotel with impeccable service from every member of staff. The pool area is lovely and the other outside spaces are comfortable and very inviting - for example there are lights and fire pits everywhere. The food and drinks are very good and the access to other restaurants and coffee shops in the local town is fantastic too. A quick drive to the beach. What a great hotel.

Cons: Nothing. The only thing I’d say is the room rates are a bit confusing. There is an additional £25 daily resort fee to pay which wasn’t made clear to us . And the valet parking was mandatory and expensive - £45 per day. Just bear those in mind as mandatory additional charges.

Pros: All staff were VERY respectful/courteous/officiant/kind. ALL front desks people were fabulous, But Sam was the first to answer a call from me and she was my favorite person! She really made me feel welcomed and she went out of her way to get me hot water to sip on for my morning lap swim. Please tell her I think she's GREAT! ALSO, the drivers of the shuttle car were PERFECT. I don't remember their names, but they were GREAT. They both made us welcomes, picking up/dropping off to the train station!

Cons: Not that this is not expected but the bar seating area got a lil messy with all the people coming and going. I just think having an attendant to keep an eye on a lil cleanup between customers leaving their drinkware and table messes behind while others come to sit where it was not cleaned up. I had to move the past customer's mess for my family to have use of the space.

Pros: Friendly environment, Great staff, and great location!

Very nice mini break

Pros: Every employee we met was friendly and anxious to help. Walking distance to the mission and downtown San Juan Capistrano. The water fill station by the ice machine is a great perk instead of charging for bottled water. Food in the restaurant was exceptional.

Cons: $55 charge to park a car seems excessive.

Excellent for wedding party

Pros: The hotel is beautiful. Walking distance to many bars, restaurants and shops. Free admission to the historic Mission next door.

Cons: Only espresso maker in the room that was not good. Limited food and drink options on the weekdays

This stay with worth every penny!

Pros: The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It’s super inviting as well as wonderfully kept.

Pros: Beautiful structure, great decor, and the restaurant, bar and cafe were wonderful. Comfortable bed, big room and bathroom.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: We liked being SJC to visit the Mission etc. The staff was courteous and listened to our concerns.

Cons: We paid for a king size bed but the bed was a queen size and with no firmness. The handle on the sliding door (inside handle) was broken making it difficult to get out of the bathroom. Hotel is overpriced!!
