Hidden Gem

Pros: Exceptional, welcoming, helpful staff. Quiet facility. A homey, not touristy, feel to the place. Simple but had everything we needed. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants.

Cons: Vertical, Venetian blinds could be updated.

Easy access to beach and cafes, clean and fully equiped

Pros: The size of the apartment was good, having a separate bedroom and a full kitchen (full cooker and fridge freezer). Any requests to staff were resolved quickly. (Bath slip mat, bin changes)

Cons: No lift and being over 70 would have preferred to have been on ground floor bcos of lifting suitcases. Seemed a lot of metal fencing (although to safeguard children from the pool and to escape in case of fire was good)

Pros: Debbie went above & beyond during my stay in La Jolla, she is an asset to the team! The room was very spacious & comfortable. Great location, a short walk to the beach to watch the sunset, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby also.

Great apartment, horrible internet

Pros: Beautiful clean well appointed apartment with access to extra coffee and cream. Comfortable bed. Close to eateries of La Jolla shores.

Cons: The internet sucked eggs. So slow and it made not only browsing on phones painfully slow but also the TV virtually useless since it used streaming services. Why not just add another router?

Pros: The facility is nice and sufficient with full kitchen. Location is good. Service staff is kind and supportive.

Cons: The bed is relatively small for 2 adults.

Super apartment for me and my son

Pros: Had the pool to ourselves which was magic. Apartment was a great size and had everything we needed. Quiet street but 3 minutes walk to bars and shops. On street parking was ideal as they charge extra to park on the property - odd! Had to do out of hours check in and out so missed our host but when we broke a bowl the cleaner was so helpful and friendly.

Cons: Nail poking through carpet which the handy man fixed straight away.
