Heaven

Pros: The location is absolutely perfect. Have been several times in LJ and this one is the number 1. The general manager and the staff are super friendly and relaxed. Room nice and spacious. Cannot think of anything not perfect. We will come back.

Cons: Not a single thing.

Pros: Location was great. Right on the beach and close to all good restaurants. Really nice place to stay. Staff really friendly and accommodating.

Cons: Walls and ceilings paper thin. Can hear conversations and footsteps from all rooms close by. If you stay here try and book room 14. Best room available.

A great hotel in a glorious location

Pros: Fabulous location - the beach is just across the road. You can sit on the balcony and watch the pelicans fly past, the world go by and even a wedding

Cons: Being an older building, handy power points were in short supply, but we easily made do

Gorgeous little motel directly at the pacific beach

Pros: Beautiful location with superb views of the pacific beach, comfortable beds, nice rooms, friendly staff, sleeping with the sounds of the ocean

Pros: Very spacious room, very good beds, excellent location

Cons: Kitchen equipment was very minimalist

Pros: The room was spacious, airy, well appointed and very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The staff were super friendly and helpful. A delightful small hotel with character in an excellent location in a quiet area with a view of the ocean from the balcony and just steps from the small beach and the La Jolla cove walk. Pelicans, sea lions and seals just minutes away made for a extremely enjoyable stay. A great area with easy access to all the attractions that San Diego has to offer.

Cons: A bit of a walk to any restaurants but that was a minor inconvenience.

Pros: The location is perfect and everything is in walking distance. Monika from the front desk was super sweet and gave us great recommendations on things to do! A great place to stay!

Pros: The location! It is next to the sea, 5 minutes walk to a beach where you could find sea shells and seals. The staff is absolutely amazing too. They even made the sofa bed sheet and duvet for our kids before arriving.

Cons: The floor could be creaky, we are on the second floor, and could hear our kids walking in the same room. But I assume it is common for a sea shore inn.

Will be coming back most definitely.

Pros: Scripps Inn is a sweet little hotel right on the bluffs of La Jolla shores. You can take your coffee out and drink it with a view. Just a little stroll north there is seal beach and a lot of nice restaurants. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed. Room service is on demand only which we really appreciated. Staff is very friendly and will accommodate you every which way possible. Our room didn’t have a kitchenette only a coffee maker and coffee but that was fine with us.
